2. Emma Morano, the world’s oldest woman passed away. She was 117.

दुनिया की सबसे वृद्ध मृहिला एम्मा मोरानो का निधन हो गया। वह 117 वर्ष की थीं।

3. Spanish clothing brand Zara's Co-founder Amancio Ortega has surpassed Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos to become the world's second-richest person.

एमेज़ॉन संस्थापक जेफ बेज़ोस को पछाड़कर स्पैनिश क्लोदिंग ब्रैंड ज़ारा के सह-संस्थापक अमानसियो ओर्टेगा दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति बन गए है।

4. According to the Japanese financial services major Nomura, India's current account deficit (CAD) is expected to widen to 1.6 per cent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) this year from 0.5 per cent in 2016.

 जापान की वित्तीय सेवा कंपनी नोमुरा के अनुसार, भारत के चालू खाते का घाटा (सीएडी) इस वर्ष बढ़कर सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) का 1.6 प्रतिशत पहुंच जाने का अनुमान है। यह 2016 में 0.5 प्रतिशत था

भारतीय बैडमिंटन खिलाड़ी बी. साई प्रणीत ने हमवतन किदांबी श्रीकांत को हराकर अपना पहला सिंगापुर ओपन सुपरसीरीज बैडमिंटन टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता।

6. The Finance Ministry have permitted the Labour Ministry to go ahead with 8.65 per cent rate of interest on employees’ provident fund for 2016-17, which will benefit over four crore EPFO members.

वित्त मंत्रालय ने श्रम मंत्रालय को कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि कोष पर 2016-17 के लिए 8.65 प्रतिशत ब्याज दर को मंजूरी दे दी है। इससे कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (ईपीएफओ) के चार करोड़ से अधिक अंशधारकों को फायदा होगा।

7. China overtook US to become world's top crude oil importer.

चीन अमेरिका को पीछे छोड़ते हुए विश्व का शीर्ष कच्चे तेल का आयातक बन गया।

8. Indian Railways will supply modern locomotives and train sets worth Rs 680 crore to Sri Lanka, in the largest export order for the public transporter.

भारतीय रेलवे श्रीलंका को 680 करोड़ रपये मूल्य का आधुनिक इंजन और ट्रेन सेट की आपूर्ति करेगा। रेलवे के लिये यह अबतक का सबसे बड़ा निर्यात आर्डर है।

9. Former Andhra Pradesh minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Devineni Nehru died. He was 65.

आंध्र प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री व तेलुगू देशम पार्टी (तेदेपा) के नेता देवीनेनी नेहरू का निधन हो गया। वह 65 वर्ष के थे।

10. Ferrari's Formula One racer Sebastian Vettel defeated Lewis Hamilton to win the Bahrain Grand Prix 2017.
