Infosys names Ravi Venkatesan as co-Chairman
Infosys appointed Independent Director Ravi Venkatesan co-Chairman amid calls from founders to diversify the board.
The Board expansion comes against the backdrop of an ongoing tussle between the founders and the management over contentious issues.
Mr. Venkatesan, has been on the Infosys Board since April 2011.

सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी इंफोसिस के संस्थापकों द्वारा कंपनी के निदेशक मंडल में विविधता लाने के लिए कहे जाने के बीच कंपनी ने स्वतंत्र निदेशक रवि वेंकटेसन को सहायक चेयरमैन बनाया है।
निदेशक मंडल में विस्तार का यह निर्णय कंपनी प्रबंधन और संस्थापकों के बीच विभिन्न मुद्दों पर बनी रस्साकशी के बीच किया गया है।
गौरतलब है कि वेंकटेसन अप्रैल 2011 से ही कंपनी के निदेशक मंडल के सदस्य हैं।
