1. Hollywood film 'The Black Prince', starring Indian actress Shabana Azmi and singer-poet Satinder Sartaaj, has been awarded the Special Jury Remi Award at the 50th annual World Fest - Houston International Film Festival.

हॉलीवुड की फिल्म द ब्लैक प्रिंस को 50वें वार्षिक वर्ल्ड फेस्ट ह्यूस्टन इंटरनेशनल फिल्म फेस्टिवल में स्पेशल जूरी रेमी अवार्ड से पुरस्कृत किया गया। इस फिल्म में भारतीय अभिनेत्री शबाना आज़मी एवं पंजाबी गायक सतिंदर सरताज अभिनेता की भूमिका में हैं।

2. America launched an unarmed missile 'Minuteman 3' from California. It is capable of sending a nuclear bomb across the world.

अमेरिका ने कैलिफोर्निया से दुनिया में कहीं भी परमाणु हथियार ले जाने में सक्षम प्रक्षेपास्त्र 'मिनटमैन 3' का परीक्षण किया।

3. According to the 'Swachh Survekshan 2017', Indore in Madhya Pradesh has been declared the cleanest city in India while Gonda in Uttar Pradesh has been ranked the dirtiest.

'स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण-2017' के अनुसार मध्य प्रदेश का इंदौर देश का सबसे स्वच्छ शहर है जबकि उत्तर प्रदेश का गोंडा सबसे अस्वच्छ शहर है।

4. In order to eliminate the problem of bad loans, the Union Cabinet approved an ordinance to amend the Banking Regulation Act for dealing with the non-performing assets (NPAs) in the banking system.

केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने सरकारी बैंकों में एनपीए की समस्या से निपटने के लिए बैंकिंग रेगूलेशन एक्ट में संशोधन के लिए अध्यादेश को मंजूरी दी।

5. Railways Ministry announced to build the world's highest railway bridge over the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir. This railway bridge is expected to be 35 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower.

रेल मंत्रालय ने जम्मू और कश्मीर में चिनाब नदी पर विश्व के सबसे ऊंचे रेल पुल का निर्माण करने की घोषणा की। चिनाब नदी पर बनाए जाने वाले रेल पुल की ऊंचाई एफिल टॉवर से लगभग 35 मीटर अधिक होगी।

6. The Cabinet approved an agreement signed with Malaysia for assured supply of urea and ammonia from a plant to be set up by Malaysia.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने यूरिया और अमोनिया के एक संयंत्र से सुनिश्चित आपूर्ति के लिए मलेशिया के साथ हस्ताक्षरित समझौते को मंजूरी प्रदान की। इस संयंत्र की स्थापना मलेशिया द्वारा की जाएगी।

7. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has upstaged Bajaj Auto to become the second largest bike maker in India during April.

होंडा मोटरसाइकिल एंड स्कूटर इंडिया अप्रैल में बजाज ऑटो को पछाड़कर देश की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी मोटरसाइकिल विनिर्माता बन गई।

8. Abhay Singh of Tamil Nadu defeated state-mate Vikas Mehra to win the boys under-19 title in the ISA Junior Open.

तमिलनाडु के अभय सिंह ने अपने ही राज्य के विकास मिश्रा को हराकर आईएसए जूनियर ओपन स्क्वाश में लड़कों के अंडर-19 वर्ग का खिताब जीता।

9. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated the two day Global Technology Conference for Leveraging World Class Technology (International Conference on Development & Adaptation of Advance Technology for Railways). 

रेल मंत्री सुरेश प्रभाकर प्रभु ने विश्‍व स्‍तरीय प्रौद्योगिकी से लाभ उठाने के लिए दो दिवसीय विश्‍व प्रौद्योगिकी सम्‍मेलन (रेलवे के लिए उन्‍नत प्रौद्योगिकी के विकास एवं अनुकूलन पर अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय सम्‍मेलन) का उद्घाटन किया।

10. India successfully test-fired the Agni-II Ballistic Missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha Coast.

भारत ने ओडिशा तट के एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम परीक्षण रेंज से अग्नि-2 बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण किया।
