SBI PO Mains 2017 Exam Pattern & Strategy
The SBI PO aspirants must be striving toward preparation of Mains Exam after Prelims Results. The SBI PO Mains Exam will tentatively be held on 4 June 2017.

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test
The Objective Test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:

(ii) Descriptive Test
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English
Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the
Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.

Subject Clarity
While preparing for examination, the candidate should clear all the concepts from syllabus to be asked in SBI PO MAINS 2016. Topic wise study of concept will make your preparation more worthy.  For preparation, the candidate should opt for good study material, which explain detailed concept with speedy tips and strategies. This will help the candidates in solving questions quickly and correctly.
Time Management
The candidate should make structured plan for all the topics and section can be asked in the exam. Start revising the most important topics first followed by the less important topics. Try to clear concept topic wise despite of trying all the topics at the same time.
Practice Mock Tests
Try to solve at least 5 question papers as it will help you find any difficult areas in the test papers that you have covered and need revision. This will help you to increase speed in solving the paper, along with smooth and easy movement across sections (in case you don’t know a particular answer).
Eat Healthy Diet
Healthy Diet Plays essential role in preparing for the examination. Never ignore the breakfast as it is an important meal that helps you keep running throughout the day even if you miss the lunch. Eat fruits as they are healthy and a good source of nutrition. Avoid oily food as it will make you feel sleepy throughout the day. Do not take any food or liquids which contain caffeine or chocolate three hours before sleeping.
Sleep well
Try to sleep at a fixed time every night. Avoid sleeping in the afternoons; a short nap may be helpful though. Avoid stimulating your sensory system by too much TV, arguments, or fights.
