Sunita Lakra completes century of International caps for India

India Senior women’s team defender Sunita Lakra achieved another milestone after featuring in India’s third match of the Five-Match Series against New Zealand which became the 100th International matches of her career.


Lakra, who made her international debut in 2009, currently leads India’s defence in New Zealand along with Deep Grace Ekka, Namita Toppo, Sushila Chanu, Udita and Gurjit Kaur.

भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम की खिलाड़ी सुनीता लाकड़ा ने न्यूजीलैंड में जारी पांच टेस्ट मैचों की श्रृंखला के तीसरे मैच में मैदान में उतरने के साथ ही अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपना 100वां मैच खेला। 


साल 2009 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपने करियर की शुरुआत करने वाली सुनीता भारतीय टीम की महत्वपूर्ण खिलाड़ी हैं। वह वर्तमान में न्यूजीलैंड में जारी श्रृंखला में भारतीय टीम की रक्षापंक्ति की अगुवाई कर रही हैं, जिसमें दीप ग्रेस एक्का, नमिता टोप्पो, सुशीला चानू, उदिता और गुरजीत कौर शामिल हैं।

Jimmy Kimmel to host 90th Academy Awards 

Late night show host Jimmy Kimmel is getting another chance to host the perfect Academy Awards ceremony after this year's mix-up in the best picture announcement.

Kimmel has been roped in to serve as the host for the 90th ceremony next year.

Kimmel seems to have impressed Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs with his deft handling of the mix-up during the best picture announcement when "La La Land" was mistakenly declared as the winner over "Moonlight".

                                

जिम्मी किम्मेल करेंगे 90वें ऑस्कर समारोह की मेजबानी

ऑस्कर पुरस्कार के इस वर्ष के होस्ट जिम्मी किम्मेल अगले वर्ष भी इस समारोह की मेजबानी करेंगे।

दरअसल इस वर्ष समारोह के दौरान सर्वश्रेष्ठ पिक्चर की घोषणा में कुछ गड़बड़ी हो गई थी और उस स्थिति को उन्होंने जिस समझदारी से संभाला उसी के चलते उन्हें अगले वर्ष अकादमी अवॉर्ड सेरेमनी को होस्ट करने का मौका मिल रहा है।

किम्मेल अगले वर्ष होने वाले 90वें समारोह की मेजबानी करेंगे।

Paytm to start payments bank operations from May 23 

After months of delay, Paytm is now all set to commence its payments bank operations from May 23, having received the final approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The company will transfer its wallet business, which has over 218 million mobile wallet users, to the newly incorporated entity -- PPBL -- under the payments bank licence awarded to a resident Indian, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder of One97 Communications that owns Paytm. 

                                             

पेटीएम का भुगतान बैंक 23 मई से होगा शुरू

कई महीनों की देरी के बाद आखिर अब पेटीएम का भुगतान बैंक 23 मई से शुरू हो जायेगा। उसे इसके लिये रिजर्व बैंक से अंतिम मंजूरी मिल गई है।

पेटीएम अपना वॉलेट का पूरा कारोबार पीपीबीएल में स्थानांतरित कर देगी। इसमें 21.80 करोड़ मोबाइल बटुआ इस्तेमाल करने वाले लोग जुड़े हैं। भुगतान बैंक का यह लाइसेंस भारतीय निवासी विजय शेखर शर्मा को मिला है। विजय शेखर शर्मा पीटीएम की मालिक कंपनी वन97 कम्युनिकेशंस के संस्थापक हैं।

फोर्ब्स की इस दूसरी वाषिर्क वैश्विक पासा पलटने वालों की सूची में 25 ‘‘साहसी व्यावसायियों’’ को शामिल किया गया है जो कि चुप नहीं बैठे रह सकते और यथास्थिति से संतुष्ट नहीं रहते हैं। वह अपने उद्योग धंधों में कुछ नया करते रहते हैं जिससे कि दुनियाभर में करोड़ों लोगों के जीवन में बदलाव आता है।
