Priyanka to get Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award
Actress Priyanka Chopra will be honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award for being an international icon.
The "Baywatch" star will be given the award under the newly introduced 'Internationally Acclaimed Actress' category at a ceremony. The award ceremony will be held on June 1 in Mumbai.

अभिनेत्री प्रियंका चोपड़ा को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाने के लिए दादासाहेब फाल्के अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
‘बेवॉच’ की अभिनेत्री को एक समारोह के दौरान हाल में शुरू किए गए ‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ख्याति प्राप्त अभिनेत्री’ वर्ग के तहत पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह का आयोजन मुंबई में 1 जून को किया जाएगा।

Swedish satire 'The Square' wins Cannes top prize Palme d'Or
Ruben Ostlund's darkly comic "The Square", a satire on the contemporary art world and what it reveals about modern society, took home the Palme d'Or as the Cannes Film Festival rounded off its highlights-studded 70th edition.
"The Square" is the first Swedish film to win the coveted prize in 66 years. Ostlund is only the second Swedish director after Alf Sjoberg to win the Palme d'Or. Sjoberg won in 1951 for a screen adaptation of the August Strindberg play "Miss Julie".
स्वीडिश फिल्म ‘द स्क्वायर’ ने जीता कान फिल्म महोत्सव का सर्वोच्च पुरस्कार
समकालीन कला जगत पर व्यंग्य करती स्वीडिश फिल्म ‘द स्क्वायर’ ने इस बार के कान फिल्म महोत्सव का सर्वोच्च पुरस्कार ‘पाम द ओर’ अपने नाम किया है। फिल्म का निर्देशन रूबेन ओस्तलुंद ने किया है।
पिछले 66 वषरें के इस पुरस्कार समारोह के इतिहास में पुरस्कार जीतने वाली यह पहली स्वीडिश फिल्म है। ओस्तलुंद ऐसे दूसरे स्वीडिश फिल्म निर्देशक हैं जिनकी फिल्म ने ‘पाम दी ओर’ पुरस्कार जीता है। इससे पहले स्वीडिश फिल्मकार ने 1951 में यह पुरस्कार हासिल किया था।

Ferarri's Vettel wins Monaco GP
Ferrari's German driver Sebastian Vettel won the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, followed closely by his Finnish team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.
With this, his second ever win at Monte Carlo, having won it last in 2011, Vettel notched his third victory of the season, following his success at the Bahrain and Australia Grand Prix.
वेटल ने जीती मोनाको ग्रां प्री
फॉर्मूला-1 टीम फरारी के ड्राइवर सेबास्टियन वेटल ने मोनाको ग्रां प्री रेस जीत ली है। इस रेस में मर्सिडीज के ड्राइवर लेविस हेमिल्टन सातवें स्थान पर रहे।
उल्लेखनीय है कि वेटल के लिए फॉर्मूला-1 चैम्पियनशिप के इस सीजन की शुरुआत शानदार रही है। उन्होंने इस साल आस्ट्रेलिया ग्रां प्री और बहरीन ग्रां प्री में जीत हासिल की।
Software services provider NIIT Technologies announced the appointment of Sudhir Singh as CEO designate.
Singh joins the company from Genpact where he was the Chief Operating Officer of the IT Services & Capital Markets Business. Prior to Genpact, Sudhir worked with Infosys in the US in various sales and client portfolio management roles.

साफ्टवेयर सेवायें देने वाली कंपनी एनआईआईटी टेक्नालॉजीज ने सुधीर सिंह को कंपनी का सीईओ नामित किया है।
सुधीर सिंह, जेनपैक्ट से एनआईआईटी में आये थे। जेनपैक्ट में वह आईटी सेवाओं एवं पूंजी बाजार कारोबार के मुख्य संचालन अधिकारी थे। जेनपेक्ट से भी पहले उन्होंने इनफोसिस के लिये अमेरिका में विभिन्न बिक्री और ग्राहक पोर्टफोलियो प्रबंधन की भूमिका निभाई।
