Fairoz Khan is new NSUI president
The Congress appointed Fairoz Khan of Jammu and Kashmir as the new president of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the party's student wing.
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who is in-charge of the frontal organisations of the party, recommended his appointment after personally interviewing those who were shortlisted for the post.
फिरोज खान बने एनएसयूआई के नये अध्यक्ष
कांग्रेस ने फिरोज खान को अखिल भारतीय एनएसयूआई का अध्यक्ष बनाया है और उनकी नियुक्ति दो वर्ष के लिए प्रभावी रहेगी।
कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने अखिल भारतीय एनएसयूआई का अध्यक्ष चुनने के लिए एक स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी बनायी थी। उन्होंने चुने हुए उम्मीदवारों का स्वयं साक्षात्कार लिया। उसके बाद उन्होंने स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी से विचार विमर्श कर जम्मू कश्मीर के फिरोज खान को इस पद के लिए चयनित किया।

भारतीय रेल यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिये आने वाले समय में नई साज सज्जा और उन्नत सुविधा वाले करीब 40,000 डिब्बे अपने बेड़े में जोड़ेगी। इस काम पर 8,000 करोड़ रुपये की लागत आने का अनुमान है।
साथ ही रेलवे के मौजूदा कोचों में सुरक्षा उपायों को और मजबूत किया जाएगा। इनमें मजबूत कपलर लगाये जायेंगे ताकि दुर्घटना के समय बोगियों के पलटने का खतरा कम हो।

Veteran Telugu poet, writer C Narayana Reddy passes away
Legendary Telugu poet and writer C Narayana Reddy, a recipient of the prestigious Jnanpith award, passed away. He was 85.
He had received the Jnanpith Award for the year 1988. He was honored with the Padma Shri in 1977 and the Padma Bhushan in 1992.
प्रसिद्ध तेलुगू कवि और लेखक सी.नारायण रेड्डी का निधन
प्रतिष्ठित ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित प्रख्यात तेलुगू कवि और लेखक सी नारायण रेड्डी का निधन हो गया।वह 85 वर्ष के थे।
उन्हें 1988 में ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार मिला था। उन्हें 1977 में पद्म श्री और 1992 में पद्म भूषण सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया था।
