Scientist who studied Albert Einstein's brain dies aged 90 

American neuroscientist Marian Diamond who studied Albert Einstein's brain in 1984, passed away. She was 90.

She was the first to show that anatomy of all animals' brains can change with experience and improve with enrichment.

अल्बर्ट आइंस्टीन के मस्तिष्क का अध्ययन करने वाली न्यूरोसाइस्टिस्ट,मैरियन डायमंड का निधन हो गया। वह 90 वर्ष की थीं।

वे पहली न्यूरोसाइस्टिस्ट थी जिन्होंने यह बताया था की मस्तिष्क की रचना अनुभवों के साथ बदल सकती है।

Trump awards Medal of Honor to Army medic 48 years later 

US President Donald Trump awarded the first 'Medal of Honor' to an Army medic who ran into danger to save wounded soldiers during a Vietnam War battle despite his own serious wounds.

McCloughan was a 23-year-old private first class who had been drafted into the Army when, in 1969, he found himself in the middle of the raging, days long Battle of Nui Yon Hill. 

                                    

सेना के चिकित्सक को 48 साल बाद ट्रंप ने दिया ‘मेडल ऑफ ऑनर’ 

अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने वियतनाम युद्ध के दौरान गंभीर रूप से घायल होने के बावजूद घायल जवानों को बचाने के लिए ‘‘अपनी जान जोखिम में डालने वाले’’ सेना के सेवानिवृत्त चिकित्सक जेम्स मैकलॉघन को 48 साल बाद पहले ‘मेडल ऑफ ऑनर’से सम्मानित किया।

मैकलॉघन 23 वर्ष की आयु में सेना में शामिल हुए थे और उन्होंने वर्ष 1969 में नुई योन हिल की लड़ाई में साथी घायल जवानों की जान बचाने के लिए अपनी जान जोखिम में डाली थी।

IAS officer Ambuj Sharma appointed Secretary-General NHRC

Senior bureaucrat Ambuj Sharma has been appointed Secretary-General, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). 

Sharma is a 1983 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह अंबुज शर्मा को राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग का महासचिव नियुक्त किया गया।

शर्मा भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के 1983 बैच के तमिलनाडु कैडर के अधिकारी हैं।

Manoj Pant is new director of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade

JNU Professor Manoj Pant has been appointed as the Director of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 70 years.

जेएनयू के प्रोफेसर मनोज पंत को इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ फॉरेन ट्रेड (आईआईएफटी) का निदेशक नियुक्त किया गया।

मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने इस पद पर पांच वर्ष के लिए या पंत के 70 वर्ष के होने तक प्रतिनियुक्ति के आधार पर उनकी नियुक्ति की है।
