भारत के मीराबाई चानू ने 2017 की अनेहम, यूएसए में आयोजित हो रहे विश्व चैंपियनशिप में वेटलिफ्टिंग में पहला स्वर्ण पदक जीता है। 48 किलो प्रतियोगिता में कुल 194 किलोग्राम उठाने के बाद चानू ने स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
2. Actress-producer Dia Mirza has been appointed UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India. Dia is also the brand ambassador for the Wildlife Trust of India.As a Goodwill Ambassador, Dia will work with the UN to further spread the message on priority areas including clean air, clean seas, wildlife protection and climate change.

3. India and Italy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for enhanced cooperation in the health sector. Shri J P Nadda, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Ms. Beatrice Lorenzin, Health Minister of Italy signed the MoU in the presence of senior officers from the Health Ministry and a high level delegation from Italy.
भारत और इटली ने स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किये। केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री श्री जे.पी. नड्डा और इटली की स्वास्थ मंत्री सुश्री बिट्रिस लोरेंजिन ने स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और इटली के उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल की उपस्थिति में एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किये।
