1.) A man rows to a place 60 km distant and back in 13 hours 30 minutes . he find that he can row 5 km with the stream in the same time as he can row 4 km against the stream. Find the rate of the stream.?

एक व्यक्ति 60 किमी . की दूरी तक नाव चलाकर जाता है और 13 घंटे 30 मिनट में वापस आता है वह देखता है की वह प्रवाह के साथ उतने समय में 5 किमी जा सकता है जितने समय में वह प्रति प्रवाह में 4 किमी. जा सकता है . प्रवाह की गति ज्ञात करे ?

downstream : upstream = 5 : 4
so according to question

upstream speed is = 8 km/hr
so rate of stream = 1 km/hr

2.) Fare of half ticket of train is half of the amount of full ticket but the reservation charges are same for both full and half ticket. If the ticket cost for a man is ₹ 390 and if he buys a half ticket for his son then it will cost him ₹ 630.Find the reservation charge?

एक ट्रेन में आधा टिकेट का मूल्य पुरे टिकेट के मूल्य का आधा हैं परन्तु दोनों टिकेट के लिए आरक्षण शुल्क सामान हैं | एक व्यक्ति यदि केवल अपना टिकेट लेता हैं तो टिकेट का मूल्य ₹ 390 होता हैं परन्तु यदि वह अपने पुत्र का हाफ टिकेट भी ले तो उसे टिकेट के लिए ₹ 630 देने होते हैं | आरक्षण शुल्क ज्ञात कीजिये?

1.5x+2y=630(ii)
x = 300, y=90

3.) Ankit sells an article to Shubham at a gain of 25%, Shubham sells it to Derraj at the gain of 20% and Deeraj sells it to Deepak at a gain of 10%. If Deepak pays Rs. 330 for it. How much did it cost Ankit?
