Some Points to Be Remembered:
v Since only two weeks (almost) are remaining for the exam, at this time no new topic should be started instead, this time should be utilized for revision and practice of all the important topics.
v Give Mock Test regularly, while giving test try to make exam-like environment, for example: quiet place, proper lights and use table & chair.
v It is also equally important to analyze your performance in the test and to find out your weaknesses and strengths.
v Practice as much as you can but do not compromise with your health and sleep 8 hours regularly as without rest, your brain won’t be able to focus properly.
v Have a proper and balanced diet.
Time Management: In this Exam, you will have only 60 minutes to solve 100 questions. You will have less than 1 minute for each question. So it is crucial to make such a strategy that you can solve maximum questions in 1 hour. This strategy should be according to your strengths and weaknesses, as we all know there is a fixed pattern in the tier-1 exam that how many questions will be asked from a particular topic. So, if you feel that you are not good in any particular topic then you should opt other topic in which you feel comfortable. Same thing should be applied in the exam also, if you are not enough knowledge of a particular question then without wasting time, you should move on the next question.
Revise And Practice
At this time, no new topics should be started instead you should utilize this time in revision and practice. Because only through practice and revision, you can maintain a good speed, because we all know, that only knowledge is not sufficient for the selection, with knowledge, speed is also equally important.
Focus on Accuracy rather than Attempts
Focus on the accuracy rather than attempts because there is negative marking for each incorrect answer in the exam. So try to answer only those questions in which you don’t have any doubts. Let’s take an example, suppose A has attempted 80 questions in which 16 are incorrect, but B has attempted 65 questions in which only 2 are incorrect. In the result marks obtained by A will be 56 and marks obtained by B will be 62. Hence, performance of B will be better than that of a just because of accuracy.
Section Preference:
Which section should be attempted first is also an important thing to know. If we talk about SSC CHSL Exam Tier 1, there are four sections from which questions are asked: Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English Language and General Studies. English Language and General Studies sections are less time-consuming sections of the exam. So you should try to attempt these sections first as they are less time-consuming and should try to have higher accuracy.
