India-Nepal Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) was held in Kathmandu 

India-Nepal Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) meeting on trade, transit and cooperation to Control Unauthorised Trade was held in Kathmandu.

The main focus of this 2-day meeting is further strengthening trade and investment ties between both the countries. 

It is a platform to discuss and resolve issues relating to bilateral trade, transit facilities provided by India to Nepal to facilitate trade with third countries, investment promotion and improvement of infrastructure at land customs stations. IGC also deliberate upon day-to-day problems in regulation of Nepalese traffic-in-transit and issues related to Indian investment in Nepal and resolves them.

भारत-नेपाल अंतर सरकारी समिति की बैठक काठमांडु में आयोजित की गयी 

अवैध व्यापार नियंत्रण के लिए व्यापार, पारगमन और सहयोग पर भारत-नेपाल अंतर सरकारी समिति की बैठक काठमांडु में आयोजित की गयी|

दो दिन की इस बैठक में दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार और निवेश संबंधों को और मज़बूत करने पर अधिक बल दिया गया। 

भारत नेपाल अंतर-सरकारी समिति की बैठक, पिछले व्यापार और पारगमन समझौतों के क्रियान्वयन की समीक्षा का एक नियमित मंच है। इसमें द्विपक्षीय व्यापार और निवेश से संबंधित नये उपायों पर चर्चा की जाती है। ये भारत और नेपाल के अलावा उनके अन्य देशों के साथ व्यापारिक सुविधाओं के बारे में भी चर्चा का भी अवसर उपलब्ध कराती है। नेपाल की ओर से भारत में आवगमन को नियमित करने से संबंधित मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा की जाती है। इस बैठक में नेपाल में भारतीय निवेश से संबंधित मुद्दों का समाधान भी किया जाता है।

Indian women boxers bag three gold medals at the Asian Youth Championships in Bangkok

Indian women boxers claimed three gold medals the Asian Youth Championships in Bangkok. World champion Nitu Ghanghas won Gold in 48kg category. Manisha in 64kg category and Lalita in 69kg section also finished on top in the tournament. 

Settling for silver medals were three women finalists , Anamika (51kg), Sakshi (81kg) and Neha Yadav (+81kg) and lone male finalist Ankit Khatana (60kg). 

बैंकाक में एशियन यूथ चैम्पियनशिप में भारतीय महिला मुक्‍केबाजों ने तीन स्‍वर्ण पदक जीते

बैंकाक में एशियाई यूथ चैम्पियनशिप में भारतीय महिलाओं ने तीन स्वर्ण पदक जीत लिये हैं। नीतू घंघास ने 48 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में पहला स्वर्ण हासिल किया। मनीषा ने 64 किलोग्राम और

ललिता ने 69 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता है| 

फाइनल में पहुंचने वाले एकमात्र पुरुष मुक्केबाज अंकित खताना (60 किग्रा) के अलावा महिलाओं में अनामिका (51 किग्रा) और साक्षी (81 किग्रा) और नेहा यादव (+ 81 किग्रा) ने रजत पदक हासिल किये हैं|

World Immunization Week (24th- 30th April)

World Immunization Week is celebrated from 24th- 30th of April by the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to increase awareness about vaccination.

उद्देश्य: इसका उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है की आवश्यक समुचित कार्रवाई करके टीके से रोकथाम योग्य बीमारियों से हर व्यक्ति को बचाया जा सके|
