Examination for filling up Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/
Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. So, all the students who

Q1. What is the start date of registrations for the SSC
CGL 2018 exam?
The starting date for the registration process of SSC CGL
2018 is 5th May 2018.
Q2. What is the last date of registrations for the
SSC CGL 2018 exam?
The last date for the registrations is 4th June
2018.
Q3. SSC CGL 2018 exam will be conducted for how many
posts?
The SSC CGL 2018 exam will be conducted for 23 posts in
Group A, B & C. The posts are- Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts
Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Inspector, Sub-Inspector,
Assistant Enforcement Officer, Divisional Accountant and Junior Statistical
Officer.
Q4. How to apply?
All the aspirants can apply online for the exam on the
official website of SSC i.e. http://ssc.nic.in.
Q5. When will be the examination held and what will the
mode of examination?
The Tier –I of SSC CGL 2018 exam is scheduled to be held
between 25.07.2018-20.08.2018 and the dates for the Tier –II, III, IV will be
notified later. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode i.e. online.
Q6. What is the eligibility criteria for the exam?
A candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan to
be eligible for applying for the exam. Other than this, a candidate must fulfil
the age limit criteria for different posts.
Educational Qualifications: (i) Assistant Audit Officer/
Assistant Accounts Officer:
(a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from
a recognized University or Institute.
(b) Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or
cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or
Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or
Masters in Business Economics.
(ii) Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in
any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks
in Mathematics at 12th standard level or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with
Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
(iii) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a
recognized University or equivalent.
(iv) The candidates appearing in the final year of their
graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on
or before 01.08.2018.
Q7. What is the application fee for applying for the SSC
CGL 2018 exam?
A candidate has to pay an amount of Rs 100 as the
application fee. However, Women candidates and candidates belonging to
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are
exempted from payment of fee.
Q8. What is the selection process for SSC CGL 2018?
The selection process for SSC CGL 2018 includes four stages
i.e. Tier –I, II, III & IV. The details of all the tiers is indicated
