Dear Readers,

As IBPS has released the official notification of the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs VII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II And III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the exam is going to be held in the month of August 2018 and September 2018 for both the posts. Looking at the notification, we have now started subject-wise quizzes for the exam. It will include quizzes of all the subjects- Quantitative Aptitude, English, Reasoning and Computer. Here, we are providing you important questions of English Language for IBPS RRB 2018 exam.




Q.1-10.Read each sentence to find out if there is any error in it. The error, if any, will be in one part of the sentence. The number of that part is the answer. If there is no error, the answer is (5).

ANSWERS 

Q.1.(2) ‘was’ should be used in place of were the number of takes singular verb. 

Q.2.(3) ‘had’ should be used in place of ‘has’. 

Q.3.(2) ‘on’ should be used in place of ‘for’ 

Q.4.(2) ‘is’ should be used in place of ‘are’. 

Q.5.(5) No error 

Q.6.(3) 'when' should be used in place of ‘then’ conjunction when is used with hardly. 

Q.7.(3) 'Continued' should be used instead of 'continues'. 

Q.8.(3) ‘Than’ should be used in place of ‘then’ 

Q.9.(2) ‘telecast’ is the third form of verb.
