1. Exim Bank grants a $180million loan facility to Ghana
Exim Bank has granted a $180million loan to Ghana for two projects. The bank has given a loan of $30million for the rehabilitation of Yendi Water Systems. Along with this, $150million would be injected for strenghthening the Agricultural Mechanisation Services Centres project in West African countries.
एक्जिम बैंक ने दी घाना को दी 18 करोड़ डालर की कर्ज सुविधा
एक्जिम बैंक ने घाना को दो परियोजनाओं के लिये 18 करोड़ डालर मूल्य की कर्ज सुविधा दी है। बैंक ने येन्डी में पुनर्वास और पेय जल प्रणाली के उन्नयन के लिये 3 करोड़ डालर की कर्ज सुविधा दी है। साथ ही पूरे पश्चिम अफ्रीकी देशों में कृषि यंत्रीकरण सेवा केंद्रों को मजबूत करने को लेकर 15 करोड़ डालर की कर्ज सहायता उपलब्ध करायी गयी है।
2. IMF cuts global growth estimate to 3.3% as world economy loses steam
The global economy is facing a "delicate moment," beset with risks as the recovery loses steam amid trade tensions, Brexit and other factors, the International Monetary Fund warned.
The IMF's World Economic Outlook once again downgraded global growth to 3.3 percent for 2019, lower than the global crisis lender forecast of 3.5% in January and lower than October forecast of 3.7%.
आईएमएफ ने वैश्विक आर्थिक वृद्धि का अनुमान घटाकर 3.3 प्रतिशत किया
अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ने चेतावनी देते हुये कहा कि वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए यह नाजुक मौका है। वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था ने जो रफ्तार पकड़ी थी व्यापार तनाव, ब्रेक्जिट और दूसरे कारणों से वह धीमी पड़ गई है।
आईएमएफ के वैश्विक आर्थिक परिदृश्य में 2019 में एक बार फिर वैश्विक वृद्धि को कम कर 3.3 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया। इससे पहले आईएमएफ ने जनवरी में वैश्विक आर्थिक वृद्धि 3.5 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया था। इससे भी पहले अक्टूबर में आईएमएफ ने इसके 3.7 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान व्यक्त किया था।
3. Five women nominated for Booker International Prize
Polish novelist Olga Tokarczuk has been named among five female nominees for this year's Booker International Prize. She is nominated alongside Jokha Alharthi from Oman, France's Annie Ernaux, Marion Poschmann of Germany, Juan Gabriel Vasquez from Colombia and Chile's Alia Trabucco Zeran.

4. Champion shot putter Manpreet Kaur banned for 4 years for failing dope tests
Asian champion shot putter Manpreet Kaur has been banned for four years by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for flunking four dope tests in 2017.
The period of suspension would begin from July 20, 2017, the date of her provisional suspension, according to an order of the anti-doping disciplinary panel (ADDP) of the NADA dated March 29.
गोला फेंक खिलाड़ी मनप्रीत चार साल के लिए प्रतिबंधित
एशियाई चैम्पियन गोला फेंक एथलीट मनप्रीत कौर को उनके नमूने के चार बार पॉजिटिव (स्टेरायड) पाये जाने के बाद राष्ट्रीय डोपिंग रोधी एजेंसी (नाडा) ने प्रतिबंधित कर दिया।
नाडा की डोपिंग रोधी अनुशासनात्मक पैनल के मुताबिक मनप्रीत पर यह प्रतिबंध चार साल के लिए लागू रहेगा जिसकी शुरूआत 20 जुलाई 2017 से होगी।
5. Former Kerala Finance Minister K M Mani died
Kerala Congress(M) chairman and former state Finance Minister K M Mani, who had been one of the leading figures of Kerala politics for nearly five decades, died. He was 86.
केरल के पूर्व वित्त मंत्री के एम मणि का निधन
केरल कांग्रेस (एम) के अध्यक्ष और राज्य के पूर्व वित्त मंत्री के एम मणि का निधन हो गया। वह 86 वर्ष के थे।
वह केरल की राजनीति में करीब पांच दशक तक बड़ी हस्तियों में एक थे।
