3. RBI fines HDFC Bank Rs 1 crore for non-compliance of KYC norms
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fined HDFC Bank Rs 1 crore for non-compliance with the central bank’s norms on ‘know your customer (KYC)/anti-money laundering (AML)’ and ‘reporting of frauds’.

4. India extends $15 million to Niger for African Union summit
India has extended a grant of $15 million to Niger to help it organise the African Union (AU) summit. The summit will take place from July 7-8 in its capital Niamey.

5. Veteran athletics coach Lingappa died
Veteran athletics coach N Lingappa, a Dronacharya awardee, died. He was 95.
He was awarded the prestigious Dronacharya award in 2014 in recognition of his work as a coach.
एथलेटिक्स कोच लिंगप्पा का निधन
द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार विजेता एथलेटिक्स कोच एन लिंगप्पा का निधन हो गया। वह 95 वर्ष के थे।
कोच के रूप में योगदान के लिए लिंगप्पा को 2014 में प्रतिष्ठित द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया।
