1. IIT-Bombay IIT-Delhi IISc-Bangalore among top 200 in prestigious QS global rankings
Three Indian institutes -- IIT-Bombay, IIT-Delhi and IISc-Bangalore -- have found place among the top 200 in the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings.
The QS global rankings 2020, which was released in London, has 50 new entrants globally and India-based O P Jindal Global University (JGU), established in 2009, has become the youngest university to break into top 1,000 in the prestigious rankings.
आईआईटी मुंबई, आईआइटी दिल्ली और आईआईएससी क्यूएस वैश्विक रैंकिंग में शीर्ष 200 में शामिल
भारत के तीन शैक्षणिक संस्थानों -- आईआईटी मुंबई, आईआईटी दिल्ली और बेंगलुरू स्थित आईआईएससी -- ने क्वैकक्वारेली साइमोंड्स (क्यू एस) वर्ल्ड यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में शीर्ष 200 संस्थानों में अपनी जगह बनाई है।
साथ ही, हरियाणा के सोनीपत स्थित ओ पी जिंदल ग्लोबल यूनिवर्सिटी (जेजीयू) लंदन में जारी की गई क्यूएस वैश्विक रैंकिंग 2020 में शीर्ष 1000 में शामिल किया जाने वाला सबसे नया (नव स्थापित) विश्वविद्यालय हो गया है, जिसकी स्थापना 2009 में हुई थी।
2. DBS revises India GDP forecast for Fiscal Year 2020 down to 6.8 percent
DBS Bank has revised India’s GDP growth for fiscal year 2019-20 downwards to 6.8 per cent. Earlier DBS had estimated the growth rate to be 7 percent.
डीबीएस ने भारत के वृद्धि दर के अनुमान को घटाकर 6.8 प्रतिशत किया
डीबीएस बैंक ने चालू वित्त 2019-20 में भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) की वृद्धि दर के अनुमान को घटाकर 6.8 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। पहले डीबीएस ने वृद्धि दर सात प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया था।
3. Bengaluru among 10 APAC cities attracting most foreign investments: Report
Bengaluru entered the list of top 10 cities that attracted maximum cross-border investments in Asia Pacific (APAC) for the first time as it receiving over $1.6 billion last fiscal, according to property consultant CBRE.
India was among the top five preferred markets in APAC with the launch of the first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and the resulting improved market transparency, the consultant said in its Asia Pacific Investor Intention Survey 2019.

बेंगलुरू एशिया प्रशांत (एपीएसी) क्षेत्र में सबसे ज्यादा विदेशी निवेश आकर्षित करने वाले शीर्ष दस शहरों में पहली बार शुमार हुआ है। पिछले वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 में यहां 1.6 अरब डॉलर का रियल एस्टेट निवेश हुआ। संपत्ति से जुड़ी सलाह देने वाली कंपनी सीबीआरई ने यह जानकारी दी।
फर्म ने अपनी एशिया प्रशांत निवेश इंटनेंशन सर्वेक्षण 2019 में कहा कि पहले रियल एस्टेट निवेश न्यास (रीट) पेश होने के साथ भारत , एपीएसी में शीर्ष पांच पसंदीदा रियल एस्टेट बाजारों में से एक रहा।

State-owned engineering firm BHEL announced that it has commissioned Unit-1 of 84 MW at Chhukha hydro electric project in Bhutan.

The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on South Indian Bank for violating norms regarding bank guarantees.
