1- Nalin Shinghal has been appointed as CMD of BHEL
Nalin Shinghal has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of State-owned engineering and manufacturing enterprise BHEL. He will replace Atul Sobti as the Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL.Prior to joining BHEL, he was the Chairman and Managing Director of Central Electronics Limited (CEL).
He has worked with the Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) in various capacities in Operations, Commercial & Marketing functions and also with PSUs like CONCOR, IRCTC and CEL, in diverse areas. He has also worked with the Long Range Decision Support group of the Ministry of Railways.

2- Haryana government announced the launch of 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal for farmers
The Haryana government has announced the launch of 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal whereby farmers can avail benefits of several government schemes directly after uploading their crop-related details.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the portal. This simple system will enable farmers to self-report their land and crop details and help them receive the benefits of several government schemes directly.
हरियाणा सरकार ने ‘मेरी फैसल मेरा ब्योरा’ पोर्टल शुरू करने की घोषणा की,
हरियाणा में कृषि को जोखिम फ्री बनाने, किसानों को उपज बेचने में कठिनाई न हो और उन्हें ज्यादा से ज्यादा लाभ मिले, इस कड़ी में हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने ‘मेरी फसल मेरा ब्यौरा’ पोर्टल लॉच किया, जिसके माध्यम से किसान 5 जुलाई से 31 जुलाई तक अपनी बोई फसल व खाली खेत का ब्यौर पोर्टल पर दे सकेगा।
वेब पोर्टल लांच कर दिया गया है ताकि किसान उस पर अपनी खेतों की जानकारी और बोई जाने वाली फसल के बारे में सूचना दर्ज कर सके। इसका फायदा यह होगा कि किसानों को अपनी फसल बेचने में कोई दिक्कत नहीं आएगी।
3- DRDO carries out three successful Nag missile tests in one day in Pokhran
Moving closer toward the induction of the Nag anti-tank guided missiles into the Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Sunday carried out three successful test firings of the missiles in the Pokhran firing ranges. The system includes a third generation Anti-Tank Guided Missile, the NAG, along with the Missile Carrier Vehicle (NAMICA).
भारत ने स्वदेसी एंटी टैंक गाइडेड मिसाइल नाग का किया सफल परीक्षण
भारत ने रविवार को स्वदेसी एंटी टैंक गाइडेड मिसाइल नाग का तीब बार सफल परीक्षण किया। यह परीक्षण पोखरण की टेस्ट फायरिंग रेंज में किया गया। परीक्षण के दौरान मिसाइल को दिन और रात दोनों समय टेस्ट फायर किया गया। इसे रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) ने विकसित किया है। यह भारतीय सेना की ताकत को और बढ़ाने में मदद करेगा। नाग मिसाइल दिन और रात में बराबर क्षमता के साथ दुश्मन के टैंकों पर आक्रमण कर सकती है।मिसाइल लॉन्च होने के बाद इमेजिन इंफ्रारेड रडार से मिसाइल लॉक्ड टारगेट को फॉलो करते हुए हिट करती है। लॉन्चिंग के बाद इसे किसी भी तरह की एक्सटर्नल कमांड की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती। मिसाइल का भार 93 पौंड यानी 42 किलो है, इसकी लंबाई 6 फुट 3 इंच यानी 1.90 मीटर है.
4- Rahul Dravid appointed as Head of Cricket at NCA
Former India captain Rahul Dravid has been appointed as Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Rahul Dravid will oversee all cricket related activities at NCA and will be involved in mentoring, coaching, training and motivating players, coaches and support staff at the NCA.
पूर्व भारतीय कप्तान राहुल द्रविड़ को राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमी (एनसीए) में क्रिकेट के प्रमुख के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व महान बल्लेबाज राहुल द्रविड़ को बीसीसीआई ने राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमी का नया क्रिकेट प्रमुख नियुक्त किया है। पूर्व भारतीय कप्तान तथा इंडिया-ए और भारतीय अंडर-19 टीम के कोच रहे राहुल द्रविड़ को भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) ने बेंगलुरू स्थित राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमी (NCA) का क्रिकेट प्रमुख नियुक्त किया। द्रविड़ एनसीए क्रिकेट से जुड़ी सभी गतिविधियों को देखेंगे तथा वह सलाहकार, कोचिंग और प्रशिक्षण के अलावा खिलाड़ियों, कोच और सहयोगी स्टाफ को प्रेरित करने में अपनी भूमिका निभाएंगे।
5- Bicycle sharing scheme will be introduced in Puducherry
Bi-cycle sharing scheme, to be introduced in Puducherry. NSD Logo Conceived and prioritised under Puducherry smart city development plan, a bicycle sharing scheme, is to be introduced in Puducherry in a couple of months.
The registered users or customers can use bicycles to hop from one place to another within the boulevard area. The bicycles can be left at any of the docking stations after use.
For the scheme, 100 spots have been identified for cycle docking stations. To begin with, 20 docking stations with 10 to 15 cycles each, are to be set up in places like beach promenade, Bharathi Park, Gandhi Thidal, Aurobindo ashram and railway station.
साइकिल शेयरिंग योजना पुडुचेरी में शुरू की जाएगी
पुडुचेरी स्मार्ट सिटी डेवलपमेंट प्लान के तहत एक साइकिल साझा योजना के तहत कल्पना और प्राथमिकता दी गई है, एक दो महीने में पुडुचेरी में पेश किया जाएगा।
पंजीकृत उपयोगकर्ता या ग्राहक एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान पर जाने के लिए साइकिल का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। उपयोग के बाद साइकिल को किसी भी डॉकिंग स्टेशन पर छोड़ा जा सकता है। योजना के लिए, साइकिल डॉकिंग स्टेशनों के लिए 100 स्थानों की पहचान की गई है। योजना शुरू करने के लिए, 10 से 15 चक्रों वाले 20 डॉकिंग स्टेशन, विभिन्न स्थानों पर स्थापित किए जाने हैं
टेंडर के माध्यम से एक उपयुक्त ऑपरेटर का पता चलने के बाद सार्वजनिक-निजी भागीदारी मॉडल के तहत परियोजना का संचालन किया जाएगा। यह योजना पुडुचेरी स्मार्ट सिटी परियोजना की 22 प्राथमिक योजनाओं में से एक है, जिसके लिए लगभग 194 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जाएंगे।
