1- Cabinet approves merger of National Institute of Miners' Health with ICMR-NIOH
Union Cabinet has approved the merger of National Institute of Miners' Health with ICMR - National Institute of Occupational Health.
This will beneficial for both institutes and it is another example of maximum governance and minimum government. This will help both the institutes in terms of enhanced expertise in the field of occupational health besides efficient management of public money.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने ICMR -नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ ऑक्यूपेशनल हेल्थ का नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ माइनर्स हेल्थ के साथ विलय को मंजूरी दे दी ।
यह दोनों संस्थानों के लिए फायदेमंद होगा और अधिकतम शासन और न्यूनतम सरकार का उद्धारित करेगा। यह सार्वजनिक धन के कुशल प्रबंधन के अलावा व्यावसायिक स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में उन्नत विशेषज्ञता के मामले में दोनों संस्थानों की मदद करेगा।
2- Rajya Sabha passes POCSO Amendment Bill with the provision of death penalty
The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019 has been passed by Rajya Sabha. The bill seeks to enhance punishment, including a provision for the death penalty, for committing sexual crimes against children. 18 states have given their consent to set up the fast track courts which will be established within a span of two years.

राज्यसभा ने मृत्युदंड के प्रावधान के साथ POCSO संशोधन विधेयक पारित किया
लैंगिक अपराधों से बच्चों का संरक्षण (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2019 राज्य सभा द्वारा पारित कर दिया गया है। विधेयक में बच्चों के खिलाफ यौन अपराधों के लिए मौत की सजा के प्रावधान सहित सजा को बढ़ाना है। 18 राज्यों ने फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट स्थापित करने के लिए अपनी सहमति दे दी है जो दो साल की अवधि के भीतर स्थापित किए जाएंगे।

a) IAS officer Ajay Kumar Bhalla (Secretary in the Ministry of Power) -> Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of Home Affairs
b) IAS officer Subhash Chandra Garg (Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs in Finance Ministry) -> Power Secretary.
c) Senior IAS officer, Atanu Chakraborty-> Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs
d) IAS officer Anshu Prakash -> Secretary in Department of Telecommunications in the Ministry of Communications.
e) Senior IAS officer RS Shukla -> Secretary in Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs
f) GV Venugopala-> Member Secretary in National Disaster Management Authority.

4- Cabinet approves amendments to Aadhaar Bill
Union Cabinet has approved Official Amendments to the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill 2019. The government has decided to make Aadhaar as identification document so that people can avail the benefit of state subsidies directly in their bank account and to eliminate middlemen.
कैबिनेट ने आधार बिल में संशोधन को मंजूरी दी
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आधार और अन्य कानूनों (संशोधन) विधेयक 2019 के लिए आधिकारिक संशोधनों को मंजूरी दे दी है। सरकार ने आधार को पहचान दस्तावेज के रूप में बनाने का फैसला किया है, ताकि लोग सीधे राज्य सब्सिडी का लाभ अपने बैंक खाते में पा सकें और बिचौलियों को खत्म कर सकें।
5- PM Modi releases a book on former PM Chandra Shekhar
Mr Modi has released the book on former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar at Parliament Library Building in New Delhi.
The book titled 'Chandra Shekhar- The Last Icon of Ideological Politics’ is written by Deputy Chairman in the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh and Ravi Dutt Bajpai.

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने नई दिल्ली में संसद भवन में पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री चंद्र शेखर की पुस्तक का विमोचन किया।
"चंद्र शेखर- द लास्ट आइकॉन ऑफ आइडियोलॉजिकल पॉलिटिक्स" नामक पुस्तक राज्यसभा में उप सभापति, हरिवंश और रवि दत्त बाजपेयी द्वारा लिखी गई है।
