1- Rayudu reverses decision to retire
Batsman Ambati Rayudu, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on July 3, has reversed his decision. He would continue to play in IPL and is also open to playing for Team India.

World number five PV Sindhu became the first-ever Indian badminton player to win gold medal at the BWF World Championships. The 24-year-old defeated world number four Nozomi Okuhara of Japan with a scoreline of 21-7, 21-7. Sindhu had finished second in the previous two editions of the World Championships.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa will embark on a three-day visit to Thailand beginning. During his visit, he will attend the Indo Pacific Chiefs of Defence Conference in Bangkok.
The conference will provide perspectives on common challenges faced by attending nations and elicit open discussions on the same. The Chiefs of Defence of over 33 countries are scheduled to attend the Conference.
एयर चीफ मार्शल बीएस धनोआ 3 दिन की थाईलैंड यात्रा की पर जायेंगे
वायु सेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल बीएस धनोआ तीन दिवसीय थाईलैंड यात्रा की शुरुआत करेंगे। अपनी यात्रा के दौरान, वह बैंकॉक में इंडो पैसिफिक चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस सम्मेलन में भाग लेंगे।
सम्मेलन में भाग लेने वाले राष्ट्रों के सामने आने वाली आम चुनौतियों पर दृष्टिकोण प्रदान किया जाएगा और उसी पर खुली चर्चा की जाएगी। 33 से अधिक देशों के रक्षा प्रमुख सम्मेलन में भाग लेंगे।
5- Komalika Bari becomes recurve cadet world champion; India wins 2 gold, 1 bronze
India's Komalika Bari became recurve cadet world champion at the World Archery Youth Championships in Madrid, Spain. She defeated higher-ranked Sonoda Waka of Japan in the final and earn India's second gold on the final day of the Championships. India also won a gold in the compound junior mixed pair event and a bronze in the compound junior men's team event. India concluded their campaign with two gold and one bronze medal in their last event.

भारत की कोमलिका बारी स्पेन के मैड्रिड में वर्ल्ड तीरंदाजी यूथ चैंपियनशिप में कैडेट वर्ल्ड चैंपियन बनीं। बारी ने फाइनल में जापान की उच्च रैंक वाली सोनोदा वाका को हराया और चैंपियनशिप के अंतिम दिन भारत का दूसरा स्वर्ण अर्जित किया। भारत ने मिश्रित जूनियर मिश्रित युगल स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण और मिश्रित जूनियर पुरुष टीम स्पर्धा में कांस्य भी जीता। भारत ने इवेंट में दो स्वर्ण और एक कांस्य पदक के साथ अपने अभियान का समापन किया।
