1- Bus service between Nepal's capital Kathmandu to India's Siliguri started
A bus service between Nepal's capital Kathmandu and India's Siliguri in West Bengal has started. Nepal's Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Raghubir Mahaseth and Indian Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri flagged off the bus from Kathmandu last evening.
The 44-seater air-conditioned deluxe bus will complete 650 Kilometre-journey between Kathmandu and Siliguri in 18 hours. The bus will leave Kathmandu daily at 3 P.M. and reach Siliguri via Kakarvitta-Panitanki border next day at around 9 A.M. The bus fare is 2,000 Nepali Rupees and tickets would be available on-line.
During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Nepal visit in 2014 a Motor Vehicle Agreement for Passenger Traffic was signed to facilitate seamless and hassle-free movement of people of both countries and promote tourism.
नेपाल की राजधानी काठमांडू से भारत के सिलीगुड़ी के बीच बस सेवा शुरू
नेपाल की राजधानी काठमांडू और पश्चिम बंगाल में भारत के सिलीगुड़ी के बीच एक बस सेवा शुरू हो गई है। नेपाल के भौतिक अवसंरचना और परिवहन मंत्री रघुबीर महासेठ और भारतीय राजदूत मनजीव सिंह पुरी ने कल शाम काठमांडू से बस को रवाना किया।
44-सीटर वातानुकूलित डीलक्स बस काठमांडू और सिलीगुड़ी के बीच 18 घंटे में 650 किलोमीटर की यात्रा पूरी करेगी। बस प्रतिदिन 3 बजे काठमांडू से रवाना होगी और काकरविट्टा-पणतंकी सीमा के माध्यम से अगले दिन लगभग 9 बजे यह सिलीगुड़ी पहुंचेगी। बस का किराया 2,000 नेपाली रुपए है और टिकट ऑन लाइन उपलब्ध होगा।
2014 में प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की नेपाल यात्रा के दौरान दोनों देशों के लोगों को सहज और परेशानी मुक्त करने और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए यात्री यातायात के लिए एक मोटर वाहन समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।
2- The Democratic Republic of the Congo announces new govt
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has announced a new coalition government, seven months after the inauguration of President Felix Tshisekedi. The power-sharing agreement will see 23 members of the executive drawn from Tshisekedi's Direction For Change and the remaining 42 from former President Joseph Kabila's Common Front for Congo.
Mr Tshisekedi emerged victorious in elections that marked the Democratic Republic of Congo's first peaceful transition of power since the mineral-rich nation gained independence from Belgium in 1960.

3- Iran to let women attend football World Cup qualifier
In Iran, women fans will now be allowed as spectators into the stadium for next football World Cup qualifier match in October. FIFA has been stepping up pressure on Iran to ensure entry of women to watch the match.
A sports ministry official confirmed that women would be able to watch Team Melli - as the national team is known, at their next home game against Cambodia in Tehran's Azadi stadium in October this year.

Karnataka will have three Deputy CMs for the first time after the newly formed BJP government appointed Govind Makthappa Karajol, CN Ashwath Narayan and Laxman Sangappa Savadi to the post of Deputy Chief Ministers. While Makthappa has been allotted Public Works Department, Narayan and Savadi have been given higher education and transport portfolios, respectively.

नवगठित भाजपा सरकार के बाद गोविंद मकठप्पा करजोल, सीएन अश्वथ नारायण और लक्ष्मण संगप्पा सावदी को उप मुख्यमंत्रियों के पद पर नियुक्त करने के बाद कर्नाटक में पहली बार तीन डिप्टी सीएम होंगे। जबकि मख्तप्पा को सार्वजनिक निर्माण विभाग आवंटित किया गया है, नारायण और सावदी को क्रमशः उच्च शिक्षा और परिवहन विभाग दिए गए हैं।

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has decided to rename the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium as the Arun Jaitley Stadium after the former DDCA President and BCCI Vice-President. The ceremony to rename the historic stadium will be done on September 12 while a stand will also be named after India skipper Virat Kohli.
