1- Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana crosses one crore beneficiaries
Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) has achieved a significant milestone by crossing one crore beneficiaries. The PMMVY is a direct benefit transfer scheme under which cash benefits are provided to pregnant women in their bank account directly to meet enhanced nutritional needs and partially compensate for wage loss.
The total amount disbursed to the beneficiaries under the scheme has crossed four thousand crore rupees.
The scheme, under which the beneficiaries receive a cash benefit of five thousand rupees in three instalments, was launched on 1st of January in 2017. The eligible beneficiaries also receive cash incentive under Janani Suraksha Yojana. On average, a woman gets six thousand rupees.
‘मातृ वंदना योजना’ के लाभार्थियों की संख्या एक करोड़ के पार पहुंची
गर्भवती और स्तनपान कराने वाली महिलाओें के कल्याण से जुड़ी ‘प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना’ के लाभार्थियों की संख्या एक करोड़ से अधिक हो गई है। महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय की ओर से जारी बयान के मुताबिक इस योजना के तहत कुल 4,000 करोड़ से अधिक की राशि लाभार्थियों को वितरित की गई है। यह प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण(डीबीटी) योजना है, जिसके अंतर्गत गर्भवती महिलाओं को नकद लाभ सीधे उनके बैंक खाते में भेजा जाता है ताकि वे पौष्टिकता आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति कर सकें।
पात्र लाभार्थियों को जननी सुरक्षा योजना(जेएसवाई) के अन्तर्गत नकद प्रोत्साहन भी दिया जाता है। इस तरह औसत रूप में एक महिला को 6,000 रुपए मिलते हैं।
योजना के कार्यान्वयन में मध्य प्रदेश, आंध्र प्रदेश, हिमाचल प्रदेश, दादरा और नगर हवेली और राजस्थान देश के शीर्ष पांच राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश हैं। ओडिशा और तेलंगाना को योजना का कार्यान्वयन शुरू करना बाकी है।
2- Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria appointed as new Air Chief
Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria will be the next chief of Indian Air force.
Air Marshal Bhadauria, who took over as the Vice Chief of the Indian Air Force in May this year, will take charge from the incumbent Chief Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa on 30th of September.
An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Bhadauria was commissioned into the fighter stream of the IAF in June 1980 and won the coveted Sword of Honour for standing first in the overall order of merit.
एयर मार्शल आरकेएस भदौरिया को नए एयर चीफ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
एयर मार्शल राकेश कुमार सिंह भदौरिया भारतीय वायु सेना के अगले प्रमुख होंगे।
एयर मार्शल भदौरिया, जिन्होंने इस साल मई में भारतीय वायु सेना के उप प्रमुख के रूप में पदभार संभाला, 30 सितंबर को प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल बीएस धनोआ से कार्यभार ग्रहण करेंगे।
राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी के एक पूर्व छात्र, भदौरिया को जून 1980 में भारतीय वायुसेना के लड़ाकू दल में शामिल किया गया था और योग्यता के समग्र क्रम में पहले स्थान पर रहने के लिए प्रतिष्ठित स्वॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर जीता था।
3- Supreme Court gets four new judges taking total strength to highest-ever of 34
Four Chief Justices of High Courts have been appointed as the Supreme Court judges. With this, the total strength of the Apex court has gone up to the highest ever number of 34.
The appointees are Himachal Pradesh High Court Chief Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Krishna Murari, Rajasthan High Court Chief Justice S. Ravindra Bhat and Kerala High Court Chief Justice Hrishikesh Roy.
The Supreme Court Collegium led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi had recommended their names for appointment to the apex court on 28th August. The Parliament had recently increased the number of judges in the Supreme Court from 31 to 34, including the Chief Justice of India.

उच्च न्यायालयों के चार मुख्य न्यायाधीशों को सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। इसके साथ, शीर्ष अदालत की कुल ताकत अब तक की सबसे अधिक 34 हो गई है।
उच्चतम न्यायालय में बुधवार को चार नए न्यायाधीशों को नियुक्त किया गया, जिससे शीर्ष न्यायालय में न्यायाधीशों की संख्या बढ़ कर 34 हो गई है। यह अब तक की सर्वाधिक संख्या है।
कानून मंत्रालय की अलग-अलग अधिसूचनाओं के मुताबिक न्यायमूर्ति कृष्ण मुरारी, न्यायमूर्ति एस आर भट्ट, न्यायमूर्ति वी रामसुब्रह्मण्यम और न्यायमूर्ति रिषीकेश रॉय को शीर्ष न्यायालय का न्यायाधीश नियुक्त किया गया है।
न्यायमूर्ति रामसुब्रह्मण्यम और न्यायमूर्ति मुरारी क्रमश: हिमाचल प्रदेश और पंजाब उच्च न्यायालयों के मुख्य न्यायाधीश थे। वहीं, न्यायमूर्ति भट्ट और न्यायमूर्ति रॉय क्रमश: राजस्थान और केरल उच्च न्यायालयों के मुख्य न्यायाधीश थे।
4- Bangladesh: 55th ITEC Day celebrated in Dhaka
The 55th Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day was celebrated at the High Commission of India in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 19th September 2019. Around 300 ITEC alumni from all walks of life, attended the programme.
Over 4,000 young Bangladeshi professionals have undergone specialized short and medium-term courses in India under the ITEC programme since 2007.
ITEC offers opportunities to participants to avail of short and medium term courses in premier institutions like IITs and IISCs in India. It was instituted in 1964 as part of India’s Development Assistance offering for developing countries.
Every year more than 10,000 training slots are offered to 161 partner countries for training courses in various areas like Accounts, Audit, Management, SME, Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs.
ढाका में मनाया गया 55वाँ ITEC दिवस
19 सितंबर 2019 को बांग्लादेश के ढाका में भारतीय उच्चायोग में 55 वां भारतीय तकनीकी और आर्थिक सहयोग (ITEC) दिवस मनाया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में सभी क्षेत्रों से लगभग 300 ITEC भूतपूर्व छात्र शामिल हुए।
4,000 से अधिक युवा बांग्लादेशी पेशेवरों ने 2007 के बाद से आईटीईसी कार्यक्रम के तहत भारत में विशेष लघु और मध्यम अवधि के पाठ्यक्रम शुरू किए हैं।
ITEC प्रतिभागियों को भारत में IIT और IISCs जैसे प्रमुख संस्थानों में लघु और मध्यम अवधि के पाठ्यक्रमों का लाभ उठाने का अवसर प्रदान करता है। इसे 1964 में विकासशील देशों के लिए भारत की विकास सहायता पेशकश के हिस्से के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था।
161 सहयोगी देशों को हर साल एकाउंट्स, लेखा परीक्षा, प्रबंधन, एसएमई, ग्रामीण विकास और संसदीय मामलों जैसे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए 10,000 से अधिक प्रशिक्षण स्लॉट दिए जाते हैं।
5- Rajnath Singh becomes 1st defence minister to fly in Tejas
Rajnath Singh flew in a Tejas jet on Thursday morning, becoming the first Indian defence minister to get into the cockpit of the indigenously-built light combat aircraft for a sortie.
Rajnath Singh, who put on a G-suit and other fighter pilot gear,accompanied by Air Vice Marshall Narmdeshwar Tiwari for the 30-minute flight, which took off from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) Airport in Bengaluru.
राजनाथ सिंह तेजस में उड़ान भरने वाले पहले रक्षा मंत्री बने
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह बेंगलुरु में स्वदेशी लड़ाकू विमान तेजस में आधे घंटे उड़ान भरी। राजनाथ तेजस एयरक्राफ्ट में उड़ान भरने वाले पहले रक्षा मंत्री बन गए हैं।
तेजस को हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड और एयरोनॉटिकल डेवलपमेंट एजेंसी ने विकसित किया है।
