1- International conference ANGAN being organized in New Delhi
A three-day-long International conference ANGAN for Energy Efficiency in Building Sector is being organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency in New Delhi. Indo-German Technical Co-operation is also partnering in the event. Experts and policymakers from sixteen countries are participating in this event to discuss various alternative options and technologies in the field of design and construction of energy-efficient commercial as well as residential buildings.
They will also suggest effective ways of implementing the same through policies and programmes. The three-day long event will provide a platform to deliberate on the interdependence between organizations, systems sustainability and feedback loops for better resource efficiency.
नई दिल्ली में आयोजित हो रहा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन ANGAN
नई दिल्ली में ब्यूरो ऑफ एनर्जी एफिशिएंसी द्वारा भवन निर्माण क्षेत्र में ऊर्जा दक्षता के लिए तीन दिवसीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन ANGAN का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इंडो-जर्मन टेक्निकल को-ऑपरेशन भी इस आयोजन में भागीदारी कर रहा है। सोलह देशों के विशेषज्ञ और नीति निर्माता इस आयोजन में भाग ले रहे हैं ताकि ऊर्जा-कुशल वाणिज्यिक और आवासीय भवनों के डिजाइन और निर्माण के क्षेत्र में विभिन्न वैकल्पिक विकल्पों और प्रौद्योगिकियों पर चर्चा की जा सके।
नीतियों और कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से इसे लागू करने के प्रभावी तरीके भी सुझाए जायेंगे। तीन दिन तक चलने वाले इस आयोजन में बेहतर संसाधन दक्षता के लिए संगठनों, प्रणालियों के स्थायित्व और फीडबैक लूप्स के बीच अंतर-निर्भरता पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान किया जाएगा।
2- India & ADB sign $200 million loan to improve rural connectivity in Maharashtra
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India have signed a $200 million loan to upgrade rural roads to all-weather standards in 34 districts of Maharashtra State to improve road safety and better connect rural areas with markets and services.
ADB is committed to achieving a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty. Established in 1966, it is owned by 68 members—49 from the region.

एशियाई विकास बैंक (ADB) और भारत सरकार ने महाराष्ट्र राज्य के 34 जिलों में ग्रामीण सड़कों को सभी मौसम के मानकों पर अपग्रेड करने के लिए $ 200 मिलियन के ऋण पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं ताकि सड़क सुरक्षा और बाजारों और सेवाओं के साथ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों को बेहतर ढंग से जोड़ा जा सके।
एडीबी एशिया और प्रशांत क्षेत्र को एक समृद्ध, समावेशी और स्थायी बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है इसके साथ ही साथ अत्यधिक गरीबी उन्मूलन के अपने प्रयासों को जारी किये हुए है।
3- India Post Payments Bank Announces Rollout of Aadhaar Enabled Payment Services at the First Anniversary of its Business Operations
The Union Minister for Communications, Electronics & IT and Law & Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad announced the rollout of Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) Services by India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), giving a strong boost to its efforts in expanding access to financial services for millions of unbanked and underbanked customers.
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has been established under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication with 100% equity owned by Government of India. IPPB was launched by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 1, 2018.
इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक ने अपने व्यवसाय संचालन की पहली वर्षगांठ पर आधार सक्षम भुगतान सेवा का भी शुभारम्भ किया
इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक ने अपनी वर्षगाँठ के अवसर पर सेवाओं का विस्तार करते हुए आधार इनेबल्ड पेमेंट सिस्टम (AEPS) सेवा का भी शुभारम्भ किया है। इसके माध्यम से अब कोई भी व्यक्ति अपने किसी भी बैंक के आधार-लिंक्ड खाते से धनराशि डाकघर से निकाल सकता है और बैलेंस इंक्वायरी की जानकारी ले सकता है। यही नहीं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोग अपने इलाके के डाकिये के माध्यम से भी किसी बैंक से पैसे निकाल सकते हैं, बशर्ते खाता आधार से लिंक होना चाहिए। इसमें एक दिन में अधिकतम दस हजार रूपये निकाले जा सकते हैं। इस सुविधा के आने से घर-घर तक डाक पहुँचाने वाला डाकिया अब चलता फिरता एटीएम भी हो गया है।
इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक (IPPB) की स्थापना डाक विभाग के तहत की गई है, भारत सरकार के स्वामित्व वाले 100% इक्विटी के साथ संचार मंत्रालय। IPPB को प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा 1 सितंबर, 2018 को लॉन्च किया गया था।
4- EAM S Jaishankar visits innovation exhibition in Singapore
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has visited an innovation exhibition in Singapore in which around 60 startups from India are participating. Mr. Jaishankar was accompanied by his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan to the exhibition.
During his visit, Mr. Jaishankar will co-chair the 6th Meeting of Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC) with his counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan. The two sides will review the whole range of bilateral issues and provide the direction for further deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
He will also call on Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and other senior ministers during his visit.
ईएएम एस जयशंकर ने सिंगापुर में नवाचार प्रदर्शनी का दौरा किया
विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने सिंगापुर में एक नवाचार प्रदर्शनी का दौरा किया है जिसमें भारत के लगभग 60 स्टार्टअप भाग ले रहे हैं। श्री जयशंकर प्रदर्शनी में अपने सिंगापुर के समकक्ष विवियन बालाकृष्णन के साथ थे।
अपनी यात्रा के दौरान, श्री जयशंकर अपने समकक्ष विवियन बालाकृष्णन के साथ संयुक्त मंत्रिस्तरीय समिति (JMC) की 6 वीं बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता करेंगे। दोनों पक्ष द्विपक्षीय मुद्दों की पूरी श्रृंखला की समीक्षा करेंगे और दोनों देशों के बीच रणनीतिक साझेदारी को और गहरा बनाने की दिशा में चर्चा करेंगे।
वह अपनी यात्रा के दौरान सिंगापुर के प्रधानमंत्री ली हसियन लूंग और अन्य वरिष्ठ मंत्रियों को भी बुलाएंगे।
5- 24th World Energy Congress to commence in Abu Dhabi
The 24th World Energy Congress will commence in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates from 09th September 2019.
The four-day World Energy Congress aims to bring together international energy stakeholders, including governments, private and state corporations, academia and media. With over 15,000 participants expected, Congress is set to welcome over 250 high-level speakers, 72 Ministers, 500 CEOs, 1000 media persons with 40,000 square-metre exhibition space that will cover the entire energy spectrum.
The Minister added that the theme of this World Energy Congress is Energy for Prosperity which also represents the ambitious and dynamic energy transition of the country.

24 वीं विश्व ऊर्जा कांग्रेस 09 सितंबर 2019 से संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के राष्ट्रपति शेख खलीफा बिन जायद अल नाहयान के संरक्षण में अबू धाबी में शुरू होगी।
चार दिवसीय विश्व ऊर्जा कांग्रेस का उद्देश्य अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा हितधारकों को एक साथ लाना है, जिसमें सरकारें, निजी और राज्य निगम, अकादमी और मीडिया शामिल हैं। 15,000 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों की उम्मीद के साथ, कांग्रेस 250 से अधिक उच्च-स्तरीय वक्ताओं, 72 मंत्रियों, 500 सीईओ, 1000 मीडियाकर्मियों के साथ 40,000 वर्ग मीटर प्रदर्शनी स्थान का स्वागत करने के लिए तैयार है जो पूरे ऊर्जा स्पेक्ट्रम को कवर करेगा।
