1- Buddhist leader Satyapriya Mohathero passes away
The second highest Buddhist leader of Bangladesh and head of Sima Bihar of Ramu in Cox's Bazar, Satyapriya Mohathero passed away in Dhaka. He was 89 years old.
Born in Cox's Bazar's Ramu in 1930, he became a monk in 1950 and took over as the President of the Bangladesh Sangharaja of Bhikkhu Mahasabha in 2006. He was awarded the second-highest civilian award of Bangladesh Ekushey Padak in 2015 for social work.
बौद्ध नेता सत्यप्रिया मोहतरो का निधन
बांग्लादेश के दूसरे सबसे बड़े बौद्ध नेता और कॉक्स बाजार में रामू के सिमा बिहार के प्रमुख, सत्यप्रिया मोहतेरो का ढाका में निधन हो गया। वह 89 वर्ष के थे।
1930 में कॉक्स बाज़ार के रामू में जन्मे, वह 1950 में एक भिक्षु बन गए और 2006 में भिक्खु महासभा के बांग्लादेश संघ के अध्यक्ष के रूप में पदभार संभाला। उन्हें सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए 2015 में बांग्लादेश के दूसरे सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार एकाक्षी पदक से सम्मानित किया गया।
2- Vijay Patil elected as the president of Mumbai Cricket Association
Education baron Vijay Patil and Sanjay Naik are elected unopposed as President and Secretary of the Mumbai Cricket Association.
The President, Vice-President and Secretary were elected unopposed while polls were held for the posts of Treasurer, Joint Secretary and nine members of the Apex Council.
Mr Amol Kale was elected as the Vice-President.
Mr Shahalam Shaikh was chosen as Joint Secretary while Mr Jagdish Achrekar was elected as the Treasurer.

श्री अमोल काले को उपाध्यक्ष चुना गया।
श्री शाहआलम शेख को संयुक्त सचिव चुना गया जबकि श्री जगदीश आचरेकर को कोषाध्यक्ष चुना गया।
3- Harmanpreet Kaur becomes first Indian to reach 100 T20Is
Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian to play 100 T20 International matches.
Harmanpreet Kaur is among 10 female players who have reached the three figure mark in terms of appearances. New Zealand''s Suzie Bates and Australia''s Ellyse Perry top the list with 111 appearances. Harmanpreet herself is tied with Pakistan''s Bismah Maroof and West Indies'' Stafanie Taylor with 100 appearances.
Overall, Harmanpreet has two more appearances in T20Is than MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma, who have played the highest number of matches for India in men''s cricket.

4-Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik launches ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative
Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik rolled out ‘Mo Sarkar’ programme which finds its roots in the Gandhian philosophy of giving people their voice in daily governance.
The objective of ‘Mo Sarkar’ is to improve governance by collecting feedback on behaviour and professionalism displayed by the Government officers.
“Mo Sarkar’ programme has been launched in 21 district headquarters hospitals and medical colleges at Cuttack, Sambalpur and Berhampur.
