Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan gave away Kayakalp Awards to different Central Government institutions, district hospitals, community health centres and private hospitals for their work in maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in public health facilities.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan gave away Kayakalp Awards to different Central Government institutions, district hospitals, community health centres and private hospitals for their work in maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in public health facilities.
In the Central Government institutions, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi bagged a cash prize of three crore rupees, while Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry received a cash award of 1.5 crore rupees.
Besides, Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and AIIMS, Bhubaneswar were among others which were felicitated for maintaining sanitation and hygiene.
स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने अस्पतालों को कायाकल्प पुरस्कार प्रदान किये
साफ-सफाई, आधारभूत संरचना, जैविक कचरे का निपटारा, स्वच्छता और संक्रमण के रोकथाम के मानकों पर बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने वाले 30 अस्पतालों, स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को केंद्र सरकार का कायाकल्प अवार्ड मिला है। ये पुरस्कार स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने प्रदान किये। केंद्र सरकार के संस्थानों में, अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, दिल्ली को तीन करोड़ रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार मिला, जबकि जवाहरलाल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट मेडिकल एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च, पुदुचेरी को 1.5 करोड़ रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार मिला। इनमें से गोड्डा सदर अस्पताल व सीएचसी गांडेय, गिरिडीह कायाकल्प अवार्ड में विजेता रहा है जबकि चुरचू सीएचसी दूसरे स्थान पर रहा। जमशेदपुर सदर अस्पताल को नेशनल क्वालिटी स्टैंडर्ड अवार्ड मिला है। 15 प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को भी बेस्ट पीएचसी का कायाकल्प अवार्ड मिला।
इसके अलावा, पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च, चंडीगढ़ और सफदरजंग अस्पताल, दिल्ली और एम्स, भुवनेश्वर अन्य संस्थानों में से थे जिन्हें स्वच्छता और स्वच्छता बनाए रखने के लिए सम्मानित किया गया था।
2- Eminent Saxophone master Kadri Gopalnath passes away
Padma Shri awardee and well known Saxophonist Kadri Gopalnath passed away in Mangaluru. He was 69. He was considered as a pioneer in playing Carnatic ragas on his Saxophone.
Apart from Padma Shree, Gopalnath was conferred with Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award, Karnataka Kalasri award among others.

पद्म श्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित और जाने-माने सैक्सोफ़ोनिस्ट कादरी गोपालनाथ का मंगलुरु में निधन हो गया। वह 69 वर्ष के थे। उन्हें अपने सैक्सोफोन पर कर्नाटक रागों को निभाने में अग्रणी माना जाता था।
पद्म श्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित और जाने-माने सैक्सोफ़ोनिस्ट कादरी गोपालनाथ का मंगलुरु में निधन हो गया। वह 69 वर्ष के थे। उन्हें अपने सैक्सोफोन पर कर्नाटक रागों को निभाने में अग्रणी माना जाता था।
पद्मश्री के अलावा, गोपालनाथ को संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार, कर्नाटक कलाश्री पुरस्कार सहित अन्य पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया।

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has won the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for his peacemaking efforts with Eritrea. Ethiopia and Eritrea, longtime foes who fought a border war from 1998 to 2000, restored relations in July 2018 after years of hostility.

The first National Hindi Science writers conference started in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh with an aim to promote the use of Hindi and other Vernacular languages in science writing. The conference is being organised at Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National rehabilitation university was inaugurated by the speaker of the state assembly Hriday Narayain Dixit.

Bradman had eight scores between 150 and 199 but had 12 double hundreds to his credit.
