(7) In an exam out of 1800 students, 65% boys and 80% girls are passed. If total pass percentage was 74% , how many girls failed?

(10) A tricolor flag is to be formed having three adjacent strips of three different colors chosen from seven different colors. How many different colored flags can be formed with different design in which all the three strips are always in horizontal positions? (Reversing of flag is not allowed)

On first 100 apple discount offered = 100 x 0.15 = 15
On second 75 apple discount offered =  75 x 0.20 = 15
Required percentage =  (30 x 100) x 100 = 30%

x + y = 10 ... (III)
From (II) and (III), we get/(II) और (III) से, हम प्राप्त करते हैं

=35 (40 – x) – 7.5x =710
On solving

Total present age of the family (6×25) = 120 yrs
Total age of the family 6 years ago = (150 – 6×5) = 120 years
At that time, Total members in the family = 5
Therefore Average age at that time = 120/5 = 24 yrs..

परिवार की कुल वर्तमान आयु (6×25) = 120 वर्ष
6 वर्ष पूर्व परिवार की कुल आयु = (150 – 6×5) = 120 वर्ष
उस समय परिवार में कुल सदस्य = 5
इसलिए उस समय औसत आयु = 120/5 = 24 yrs.
