Answer:-
1. Sol:- (5)
One day work of Jayant = 1/30
3 days work of Jayant = 3/30 = 1/10
Remaining work = 9/10
9/ 10th part of the work done by Aditi in (9 x 20)/ 10 = 18 days.
9/ 10th part of the work done by Sneha in ((9 x 40)/ 10 = 36 days.
Together they can complete the work = (18 x 36)/54 = 12 days
2. Sol:- (4)
Number of days taken by them when they work with their original efficiency
Amitosh ---- 20 days eff = 6
Akhilesh ---- 40 days lcm = 120 eff = 3
Swinka ------ 30 days eff. = 4
Number of days taken by all of them to work altogether = 120/ 13
ATQ
Amitosh ------ 10 days eff. = 48
Akhilesh ------- 160 day LCM = 480 eff. = 3
Swinka ------- 60 day eff = 8
Required number of days = 480/ 59
Required difference = 840/ 767 days
= 1(73/767) days
3. Sol:- (2)
One day work of Sarvesh (eff.) = 1/35
One day work of Akhilesh (eff.) = 1/40
One day work of Sneha = 1/40
One day work of Aditi = 1/20
Required ratio =
= 5 : 7
4.Sol:- (2)
5. Sol:- (4)
Jayant’s one day work = 1/30
Jayant’s four day work = 4/30
Amitosh one day work = 1/20
Amitosh four day work = 4/20
When they work together = (4/30 + 4/20)
= 1/3 work completed by Amitosh and Jayant
Remaining 2/3 work done by Sneha = 26(2/3) days
