2015 US Open

The 2015 US Open is a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is the 135th edition of the US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Men's Singles


World number one Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in four dramatic sets to win his second US Open and 10th Grand Slam title. The Serb won 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-4 in New York, and will end the year with three of the four tennis majors.

Women's Singles


Flavia Pennetta won her first Grand Slam singles title, defeating Italian compatriot Roberta Vinci 7-6 (7/4), 6-2 in the US Open women's final, then promptly retired. Pennetta became, at 33, the oldest first-time Grand Slam women's champion in the Open era with the 93-minute triumph.

Men's Doubles


Frenchmen Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert won the US Open men`s doubles crown with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Britain`s Jamie Murray and Australian John Peers.

Women's Doubles


India's tennis star Sania Mirza bagged her second consecutive Grand Slam title of the season, and fifth overall, as she won the US Open women's doubles with Swiss partner Martina Hingis. The top-seeded Indo-Swiss team outplayed the fourth seed team of Casey Dellacqua and Yaroslava Shvedova 6-3, 6-3 in the final, which never rose to great heights.

Mixed Doubles

Leander Paes, Martina Hingis Win US Open Mixed Doubles Title of 2015

Leander Paes and Swiss Martina Hingis became the first team since 1969 to win three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles in the same season at the US Open.The fourth seeds defeated American duo Sam Querrey and Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 to add the New York crown to their wins at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
