I am Ekta Jain from Raipur. I have been selected as Officer (Scale-I) in Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank. Today I am going to share my success story with you all. But, first I would like to thank the almighty, my parents and my sister, who were always there with me, all my friends and everyone who maintained their faith in me during the due course. Special thanks to Team Bankers Guru for their valuable support and for their immense help.
I completed my B.Tech in April 2014 after which I gave several interviews in order to become an engineer but couldn’t get through. It was after this that I finally decided to give the banking exams.
I first joined a Mahendras Coaching Institute in Raipur. In a period of three months, I had learned all the basics and the structure of the exam. I am good at Maths but my weakness is General Awareness and in order to improve my General Awareness I read "Master In Current Affairs" magazine and referred online material on www.bankersguru.org helped me immensely. I used to study for only 5 hours a day.
IBPS RRBs III was not my first exam that I cleared in the first attempt. I had appeared and prepared extremely hard SBI Clerk but I missed out by only 3 marks. I then took up IBPS - CWE -IV- PO and this time too with all my efforts and dedication I missed out on being selected by only 5 marks.
I was never going to give up. Finally in IBPS -RRBs-III, I scored 132. I was at last allotted Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank.
My advice to the future bankers is to analyze yourself first and learn to relax. Get to know your weakness and work on it to improve it. You don’t have to study hard, you need to be relaxed. And finally, believe in yourself and have faith in God because he is always with us.
