1. NHAI has signed Memorandum of Understanding with National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) under Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and North East Centre for Technology Application and Research (NECTAR) for use of spatial technology for monitoring and managing National Highways.
भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) ने राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों की निगरानी एवं प्रबंधन के लिए स्थानिक प्रौद्योगिकियों के उपयोग के लिए भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) एवं प्रौद्योगिकी उपयोग एवं अनुसंधान के लिए पूर्वोत्तर केंद्र (नेक्टार) के तहत राष्ट्रीय दूर संवेदी केंद्र (एनआरएससी) के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किया।
2. The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval for India becoming a member country of the International Energy Agency - Ocean Energy Systems (IEA-OES) by signing the Implementing Agreement (IA). The nodal agency for the membership would be Earth System Science Organisation - National Institute of Ocean Technology (ESSO-NIOT) under the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भारत को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी - महासागर ऊर्जा प्रणालियों (आईईए-ओईएस) का एक सदस्य देश बनाए जाने के लिए अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान की. सदस्यता के लिए प्रमुख एजेंसी पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय के अधीनस्थ पृथ्वी प्रणाली विज्ञान संगठन - राष्ट्रीय महासागर प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (ईएसएसओ-एनआईओटी) होगी.
3. Union Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated Mumbai Port Trust’s second liquid chemical berth at Pir Pau, Mumbai. With commissioning of this berth, the cargo handling capacity of the Port will increase by 2.5 MMT (Million Metric Tonnes) per annum.
केंद्रीय जहाजरानी मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने मुंबई पोर्ट ट्रस्ट पर स्थित पीर पाऊ में दूसरे लिक्विड केमिकल बर्थ का उद्घाटन किया। इससे बर्थ की कार्गो को संभालने की क्षमता बढ़कर 2.5 एम एम टी (मिलियन मीट्रिक टन) प्रतिवर्ष हो जाएगी।

6. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was awarded with the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship in Singapore for providing dedicated leadership for development.Chouhan is the fourth Indian to be awarded with the prestigious fellowship.
मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान को सिंगापुर में प्रतिष्ठापूर्ण ली क्वान यू एक्सचेंज फेलोशिप से सम्मानित किया गया। श्री चौहान यह फैलोशिप प्राप्त करने वाले चौथे भारतीय व्यक्ति हैं। विकास के लिये जरूरी नेतृत्व प्रदान करने के लिए उन्हें यह सम्मान प्रदान किया गया।
7. NASA’s Juno mission to Jupiter has broken the record to become humanity’s most distant solar-powered emissary, when the spacecraft reached about 793 million kilometres from the Sun. The previous record-holder was the European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft, whose orbit peaked out at the 792-million-kilometre mark in October 2012, during its approach to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Juno will arrive at Jupiter on July 4 this year.
बृहस्पति के लिए नासा के जूनो मिशन ने सूर्य से लगभग 793 मिलियन किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पहुंच कर मानवता के अब तक के सौर ऊर्जा संचालित अंतरिक्ष यान के सबसे दूर तक पहुँचने का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है। पिछला रिकार्ड धारक यूरोपीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी का रोसेट्टा अंतरिक्ष यान था जिसकी कक्षा अक्टूबर 2012 में धूमकेतु 67पी/चुर्यूमोव-गेरासिमेंको तक पहुँचने के दौरान 792 मिलियन किलोमीटर पर पहुँच गयी थी। जूनो इस वर्ष 4 जुलाई को बृहस्पति पर पहुँचेगा।
8. Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena has won the 2016 Pritzker Architecture Prize for work that “epitomises the revival of a more socially engaged architect”. Tom Pritzker, chairman and president of the Hyatt Foundation, which sponsors the prize, announced the award. Mr. Aravena, 48, is the first Pritzker laureate from Chile, and the fourth from Latin America.

9. State Bank of India has become the first public sector lender to launch wealth management service, a space dominated by private and foreign players, to cater to fast-growing affluent segment of the country. The bank also inaugurated a dedicated branch for start-ups which will provide advisory services to the budding entrepreneurs.

10. State Bank of India (SBI) and Export-Import Bank of Korea (K-Exim) concluded a $500-million (about ₹3,300 crore) line of credit.
कोरियाई एक्जिम बैंक ने भारतीय स्टेट बैंक को 500 मिलियन अमरीकी डालर (करीब 3,300 करोड़ रुपये) का ऋण मुहैया कराने की हामी भरी है।
11. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has given Rs.44 crore for the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (Kufos).
नेशनल बैंक फॉर एग्रीकल्चर एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट (नाबार्ड) ने केरल विश्वविद्यालय के मत्स्य पालन व महासागर अध्ययन (कूफोस) विभाग को 44 करोड़ रुपये का सहयोग दिया है।
