1. India and US agree on a joint collaboration in standardisation and improving quality of AYUSH products. The highlight of the discussions was the role of AYUSH in prevention, cure and management of cancer.A MoU is expected to be signed between Ministry of AYUSH and US Health and Human Services Departments in course of time.

2. Government will digitally connect all Post Offices in rural areas by March 2017. Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Government has approved the Department of Posts' IT Modernisation Project with the objective of modernisation, digitisation and networking of about 1,55,000 Post Offices.

4. The IMF agreed to include the yuan in its Special Drawing Rights basket after determining that it is "freely usable" ON 1st oct 2016.This move means the renminbi will join the other currencies that are separately identified in the IMF's quarterly survey of foreign exchange reserves: the US dollar, euro, yen, pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar and Canadian dollar. All other currencies are lumped together.

Industrial Sectors having Pollution Index score of 41 to 59 – Orange category
Industrial Sectors having Pollution Index score of 21 to 40 – Green category
Industrial Sectors having Pollution Index score incl.&upto 20 - White category
पर्यावरण मंत्रालय ने उद्योगों का नया वर्गीकरण जारी किया है:
औद्योगिक क्षेत्र जिनके प्रदूषण सूचकांक 60 या उससे अधिक हैं- लाल श्रेणी
औद्योगिक क्षेत्र जिनके प्रदूषण सूचकांक 41-59 के बीच हैं- नारंगी श्रेणी
औद्योगिक क्षेत्र जिनके प्रदूषण सूचकांक 21 -40 के बीच हैं - हरी श्रेणी
औद्योगिक क्षेत्र जिनके प्रदूषण सूचकांक 20 तक हैं सफेद श्रेणी
10. "China is likely to launch a Mars probe in 2020. After months of flying, the probe is expected to land in Mars at the 100th anniversary of the CPC. If successful, it will be a present from people working in the aerospace field," Ye Peijian, a top official of China's space programme, said.
