6. Flipkart has acquired of PhonePe, a mobile payments company. PhonePe is building a product where payments can be made by just using just mobile number. This is based on Unified Payments Interface (UPI), a new process in electronic funds transfer being launched by National Payments Corporation of India.
फ्लिपकार्ट ने एक मोबाइल भुगतान कंपनी फोनपीई के अधिग्रहण की घोषणा की।फोनपीई भारत का पहला यूनीफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (यूपीआई) आधारित उत्पाद बना रही है। यूपीआई से उपयोक्ता अपने विशिष्ट पहचान और मोबाइल फोन नंबर या आभासी भुगतान के जरिए बैंक का कोई और ब्योरा दिए बिना धन हस्तांतरण कर सकेंगे।

चंडीगढ को देश का पहला केरोसीन मुक्त शहर घोषित किया गया है। यानी शहर में खाना बनाने तथा रोशनी के लिए सब्सिडीशुदा केरोसीन की आपूर्ति बंद कर दी गई है। पहली बार देश के किसी शहर को केरोसीन मुक्त घोषित किया गया है।
