1. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti sworn in as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. She is the first woman chief minister of the state.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred Saudi Arabia's highest civilian honour, the King Abdulaziz Sash. The honour is named after founder of the modern Saudi state, Abdulaziz Al Saud. Among other notable recipients of this honour are US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

3. The country's largest lender, State Bank of India, launched 'State Bank of India NO Queue' mobile application. By this app, customers can view details such as expected waiting time at a given branch, the number of customers waiting. Customers would neither have to stand in queue nor take any receipt for their work. The bank has included the entire procedure in the App.
देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) ने ‘स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया नो क्यू’ मोबाइल अपलीकेशन लॉन्च किया। इस App की मदद से उसके ग्राहक चुनींदा बैंक शाखाओं में विभिन्न सेवाओं के लिए लगने वाले समय संभावित समय की जानकारी हासिल कर सकेंगे। उन्हें लाइन में नहीं लगना पड़ेगा और न ही सेवा के लिए पर्ची ही लेनी पड़ेगी। बैंक ने सारी प्रक्रिया को इस App में शामिल कर दिया है।
