Q.1-5. In each question given below three statements are followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the three given statements to be true (even if they seem to be at variance from the commonly known facts.) Read the conclusions and decide which logically follows. Give answer-

(1) If only conclusion I follows. 

(2) If only conclusion II follows.

(3) If either conclusion I or II follows. 

(4) If neither conclusion I nor II follows.

(5) If both conclusions I and II follow.

Q.1. Statements : All branches are trees. Some trees are flower.

No flower is root.

Conclusions : I. Some branches being flower is a possibility.

II. Some trees being root is a possibility.

Q.2. Statements: All leaves are flowers. Some flowers are fruits.

All fruits are vegetables.

Conclusions : I. All flowers can never be fruits.

II. At least some flowers are vegetables.

Q.3-5. Statements : Some pens are chalks. Some chalks are boards.

Some boards are cards.

Q.3. Conclusions : I. At least some pens are board.

II. At least some chalks are cards.

Q.4. Conclusions : I. All chalks being card is a possibility.

Q.5. Statements : All bottles are jars. Some jars are glasses

No glass is bowl.

Conclusions : I. Some bowls being glass is a possibility. 

II. At least some bottles are bowls.

Q.6-10. Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below- 

Komal, Latika, Meetu, Praveen, Anup, Ritu, Shikha and Tripti are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides. Those who sit at the four corners faces outside while those who sit in the middle of the sides face the centre of the table.

Praveen sits third to the right of Shikha. Shikha faces the centre. Anup sits third to the left of Meetu. Meetu does not sit in the middle of the sides. Only one person sits between Anup and Ritu. Ritu is not an immediate neighbour of Meetu. Tripti faces the centre. Komal is not an immediate neighbour of Ritu.
