1. DCB Bank launched its first Aadhaar-based ATM in Bengaluru. This ATM accepts Aadhaar number and Aadhaar fingerprint (biometric) to dispense cash and it will not require any ATM/Debit Card and PIN.
डीसीबी बैंक ने बेंगलुरू में पहला आधार से जुड़ा हुआ एटीएम शुरू किया। इस एटीएम से आधार कार्ड क्रमांक और आधार फिंगरप्रिंट डालकर नकदी निकासी की जा सकती है। इसके लिए किसी डेबिट या एटीएम कार्ड अथवा पिन की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।
2. Major Technology Company Microsoft and Professional Networking Website LinkedIn have entered into an agreement under which Microsoft will acquire LinkedIn for $26.2 billion.
प्रमुख प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी माइक्रोसाफ्ट और पेशेवर नेटवर्किंग वेबसाइट लिंक्डइन ने एक समझोता किया है जिसके तहत माइक्रोसाफ्ट 26.2 अरब डालर में लिंक्डइन का अधिग्रहण करेगी।
3. India and Ghana signed three MoUs including the waiver of visa for diplomatic and official passports, establishment of a joint commission to periodically monitor various aspects of multidimensional relationship, and helping in training of Ghanaian Foreign services.
भारत और घाना ने तीन सहमति पत्रों (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए जिनमें राजनयिक और आधिकारिक पासपोटरे के लिए वीजा में छूट, बहुआयामी संबंध के विभिन्न पहलुओं की समय समय पर निगरानी के लिए एक संयुक्त आयोग का गठन और घाना विदेश सेवा के प्रशिक्षण में मदद शामिल है।
4. The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) rose 0.79% in May from 0.34% in April 2016.
थोकमूल्य आधारित मुद्रास्फीति (डब्लूपीआई) मई में बढ़कर 0.79 प्रतिशत हो गई जो अप्रैल में 0.34 प्रतिशत थी।
5. Tony Fernandes, group CEO of Malaysia's AirAsia, has been given the 'Overseas Citizenship of India' (OCI) status by the Indian Government.

6. Israel has been elected to head the United Nations' legal committee. It is the first time that Israel will head one of the world body's six permanent committees since joining the U.N. in 1949.
इजरायल को संयुक्त राष्ट्र की कानूनी समिति का अध्यक्ष चुना गया है। 1949 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र में शामिल होने के बाद से यह पहला अवसर है जब इजरायल इस संस्थान की छह प्रमुख समितियों में से किसी एक का अध्यक्ष चुना गया है।
7. Dell and Shiv Nadar University signed an agreement to collaborate and drive research and innovation. Under this agreement, Dell will engage with faculty members at the university to mentor students and jointly work on technology projects in areas such as big data, cloud computing and Internet of Things.
कंप्यूटर निर्माता कंपनी डेल ने शोध एवं नवोन्मेष के लिए शिव नादर विश्वविद्यालय के साथ सहमति पत्र (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। एमओयू के तहत डेल, विश्वविद्यालय के शिक्षकों के साथ मिलकर छात्रों को बड़ा डेटा, क्लाउड कंप्यूटिंग और इंटरनेट इत्यादि तकनीकी परियोजनाओं में प्रशिक्षित करेगा।
8. According to a report of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), at present Pakistan have around 110 to 130 Nuclear weapons while India have around 100 to 120 nuclear weapons. The report says that US, Russia, Britain, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea — have 15,395 nuclear warheads in 2016.
स्टॉकहोम इंटरनेशनल पीस रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पाकिस्तान के पास इस वक्त करीब 110 से 130 परमाणु हथियार हैं जबकि भारत के पास इसकी संख्या 100 से 120 है। इस रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि 2016 में के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक अमेरिका, रूस, ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस, चीन, भारत, पाकिस्तान, इजरायल तथा उत्तर कोरिया के पास 15395 परमाणु अस्त्र हैं।
9. The Central Statistics Office (CSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has released the inflation rates based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) for May, 2016. According to Consumer Price Index, retail inflation rate was 5.76 per cent in May, 2016.
सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम क्रियान्वयन मंत्रालय के केन्द्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (सीएसओ) ने मई, 2016 के लिए उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (सीपीआई) पर आधारित महंगाई दर के आंकड़े जारी किए। उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक पर आधारित खुदरा महंगाई दर मई, 2016 में 5.76 फीसदी रही ।
10. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) unveiled a new scheme for Sustainable Structuring of Stressed Assets (S4A) for reworking the financial structure of big corporate entities facing genuine difficulties. The scheme will be considered if the aggregate exposure (including accrued interest) of all institutional lenders in the account is more than Rs 500 crore.
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने दबाव वाली संपत्तियों के स्थिर पुनर्गठन (एस4ए) के लिए एक नयी योजना की घोषणा की जिसके तहत वास्तविक कठिनाइयों का सामना कर रही बड़ी कंपनियों की नयी सिरे से वित्तीय संरचना की जाएगी। योजना के तहत वे परियोजनाएं आएंगी जिनपर बकाया कर्ज 500 करोड़ रपये से अधिक का है।
