प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने द्वितीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर इस खास दिन पर दिए जाने वाले दो योग पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की। इसमें एक राष्ट्रीय एवं दूसरा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार है। इन पुरस्कारों को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग पुरस्कार और राष्ट्रीय योग पुरस्कार के नाम से जाना जाएगा।
2. World Bank said in its India Development Update- Financing Double Digit Growth report, which is published twice a year that India's economic growth is expected to be at 7.6% in 2016-17, which could accelerate to 7.7% in 2017-18 and 7.8% in 2018-19.
विश्व बैंक ने साल में दो बार प्रकाशित होने वाली इंडिया डेवलपमेंट अपडेट-फाइनेंशिंग डबल डिजिट ग्रोथ रिपोर्ट में कहा कि भारत की विकास दर साल 2016-17 में 7.6 फीसदी रहेगी, जबकि 2017-18 में यह 7.7 फीसदी और 2018-19 में 7.8 फीसदी रह सकती है।
3. Britain has launched a new digital archive telling the inspiring stories of war heroes as part of the UK government’s celebrations to mark 100 years of World War I. It also includes six Indians- Risaldar Badlu Singh (Punjab), Sepoy Chatta Singh (UP), Naik Darwan Singh Negi and Rifleman Gabar Sing Negi (Uttarakhand), Lance- Daffadar Gobind Singh (Rajasthan) and Lance Naik Lala (Himachal Pradesh).

4. A new Chinese computer system that can make 93 quadrillions calculations per second has claimed the top spot on the list of the world's most powerful supercomputers. The computer called Sunway TaihuLight is developed by the National Research Centre of Parallel Computer Engineering and Technology (NRCPC).
चीन की एक नयी कंप्यूटर प्रणाली ने विश्व के सबसे शक्तिशाली सुरपकंप्यूटरों की सूची में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया है । यह प्रणाली प्रति सेकंड 93 क्वाड्रिलियन गणना कर सकती है । सनवे ताइहुलाइट नाम का यह कंप्यूटर नेशनल रिसर्च सेंटर ऑफ पैरलल कंप्यूटर इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (एनआरसीपीसी) ने विकसित किया है ।
5. Oil India Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petro Resources Ltd agreed to buy a 23.9% stake in Russian Company Rosneft's Vankor project.
ऑयल इंडिया लिमिटेड, इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन और भारत पेट्रो रिसोर्सेज लिमिटेड रूस की रोजनेफ्त कंपनी के वेनकॉर प्रोजेक्ट में 23.9% हिस्सेदारी खरीदने के लिए सहमत हुए।
6. Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar will be awarded with the prestigious Rajarshi Shahu Puraskar this year. The award will be presented on June 26, the birth anniversary of Shahu Maharaj.

7. Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), along with India Post, launched a postal cover featuring Sikh general Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, to commemorate his 300th death anniversary.

8. To bolster ties with Myanmar, the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has entered into an agreement with India Ports Global Private (IPGPL) for a Rs 476-crore project to facilitate connectivity and trade.
म्यांमार के साथ संबंधों को मजबूती देने के लिए भारतीय अंतरदेशीय जलमार्ग प्राधिकार (आईडब्ल्यूएआई) ने 476 करोड़ रपये की परियोजना के लिए इंडिया पोर्टस ग्लोबल प्राइवेट (आईपीजीपीएल) के साथ एक समझौता किया ताकि संपर्क मार्ग साधने के साथ साथ व्यापार बढ़ाया जा सके।
9. China's prestigious Peking University selected a well-known yoga centre established by an Indian Mohan Singh Bhandari to conduct research in the ancient Indian exercise form and signed a MoU in this regard. Bhandari established 'Yogi Yoga' centre in 2003.
चीन की प्रतिष्ठित पेकिंग यूनिवर्सिटी ने प्राचीन भारतीय व्यायाम विधा योग पर अनुसंधान करने के लिए एक भारतीय मोहन सिंह भंडारी द्वारा स्थापित किए गए एक जाने माने योग केंद्र को चुना है और इस संबंध में समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर कर किये। भंडारी ने वर्ष 2003 में 'योगी योग' केंद्र स्थापित किया था।
10. Aiming to generate solar power through rooftops of buildings and spare land under South Delhi Municipal Corporation, the civic body inked a MoU with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).The target of the agreement is to generate 20 megawatts of solar power in two years.
भवनों की छतों और खाली पड़ी जगहों के माध्यम से सौर उर्जा पैदा करने के लक्ष्य को लेकर दक्षिण दिल्ली नगर निगम ने भारतीय सौर उर्जा निगम (एसईसीआई) के साथ सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस समझौते का लक्ष्य दो सालों में 20 मेगावाट सौर बिजली पैदा करना है।
