RRB NTPC 2016: Results likely to be declared on third week of July at indianrailways.gov.in
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to declare the result of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam on the third week of July. All those candidates, who had appeared for the same, can check their scores at the official website www.indian railways.gov.in .
Over 93 lakh candidates had attempted the paper across the country. Earlier RRB had notified the candidates regarding the recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate posts of various zonal railways/production units in the month of January. Applications were invited to fill up 18272 vacancies.
Steps to Check RRB NTPC Results 2016:
- Log on to the official website www.indian railways.gov.in
- Click on the link 'NTPC Exam Results 2016'
- Enter the details like registration number and date of birth
- Click on submit
- Your result will appear on the screen
- Download the same and take a printout for future reference
The examination was rescheduled to be held at eight centres, which included: Allahabad, Pune, Delhi and West Bengal (few centres) due to administrative reasons. Moreover, the examination in other centres continued as per the schedule.
The selection will be done against the posts of Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Enquiry-cum-Reservation Clerk (ECRC), Goods Guard, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist (JAA), Assistant Station Master (ASM), Traffic Assistant and Senior Time Keeper.

Railway Recruitment Board NTPC Result 2016 Delayed?
Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam 2016 results have been delayed, reports said.
As per HT, there is no chance of it being declared in the third week of July.
The newspaper quoted a railway official as saying that it will be a month before RRB NTPC 2016 results are declared.
About 92 lakh aspirants had applied for the RRB NTPC exam, out of them about 56 lakh had appeared for the exam.
The exam was held to fill 18,252 vacancies in various technical and non-technical posts in the Indian Railways, like assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant.
The exam was held across the country between March-May 2016.
RRB NTPC 2016: Declaration of results to take time, says official source
The results of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam 2016 are still being processed and there are no chances of it being declared in the third week of July.
Talking to HT, a senior Railway source said on Saturday that no particular date has yet been decided for the declaration of RRB NTPC 2016 results. The source further said that the results will not be declared in the third week of July and it might even take more than a month to announce it.
The online written exams to fill 18,252 vacancies in various technical and non-technical posts of RRB were held across the nation between March-May 2016. About 92 lakh aspirants had applied for the RRB NTPC exam and about 56 lakh appeared.
The advertisement (CEN 03/2015) regarding the exam, published in December 2015, sought to recruit people for various posts, including assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant.
