‘नमामि गंगे’ कार्यक्रम को तेजी से लागू करने के लिए जल संसाधन मंत्रालय और कृषि मंत्रालय के बीच समझौता
जल संसाधन, नदी विकास तथा गंगा संरक्षण मंत्रालय ने नई दिल्ली में ‘नमामि गंगे’ कार्यक्रम को तेजी से लागू करने के लिए कृषि तथा किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय के साथ सहमति ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
सहमति ज्ञापन के अनुसार कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय गंगा किनारे के गांवों में जैविक कृषि का विकास करेगा।

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare today here signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Water Resources, Water Development and Ganga Rejuvenation to promote organic farming on the banks of river Ganga. According to this agreement, villagers situated on the banks of river Ganga will be encouraged for organic farming.

The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Vijay Goel conferred Arjuna Awards to cricketers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane in a function held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Rohit Sharma was conferred Arjuna Award for the year 2015 and Ajinkya Rahane for the year 2016.
