खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति अगस्त में कम हो 5.05 प्रतिशत पर
सब्जी, खाद्य एवं पेय पदार्थ की कीमतों में नरमी से खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति अगस्त में घटकर पांच महीने के न्यूनतम स्तर 5.05 प्रतिशत पर आ गयी।
उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक आधारित महंगाई की यह दर मार्च 2016 के बाद सबसे कम है। उस माह खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति 4.83 प्रतिशत थी।
Retail inflation reduces to 5.05 percent in August
Retail inflation eased to a five-month low of 5.05 per cent in August, mainly because of a slower rate of price increase in vegetables as well as food and beverages.
The rate of price growth, based on the consumer price index (CPI), was the lowest since March 2016 when it stood at 4.83 per cent.
