2. Under the Government of India’s Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for all (UJALA) scheme, Gujarat has become the first state to distribute 2 crore LED bulbs. Gujarat has reached this milestone in just 96 days and over 42 lakh households have already benefitted from the scheme.
भारत सरकार की उन्न्त ज्योति बाई एफॉरडेबल एलईडी फॉर ऑल (उजाला) योजना के तहत दो करोड़ एलईडी बल्बों का वितरण करने वाला गुजरात पहला राज्य बन गया है। गुजरात ने यह कारनामा केवल 96 दिनों में कर दिखाया है और 42 लाख से अधिक घरों को इस योजना का लाभ मिल चुका है।
3. The Goa government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google India to promote digital literacy and drive a digital transformation across the State.

Under the tie-up, several types of projects have been envisioned wherein graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty exchange would become a regular feature to stimulate mutually beneficial research.
आईआईटी कानपुर और इजराइल की तेलअवीव यूनिवर्सिटी के ब्लावांटिक इंटरडिसीप्लीनरी सायबर रिसर्च सेंटर ने पांच वर्ष के लिये एक एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस एमओयू के तहत द्विपक्षीय शैक्षणिक संपर्क, शोध और छात्र, अध्यापकों का एक दूसरे इंस्टीटयूट में अध्ययन एवं शोध के लिये आदान प्रदान होगा।

9. The World Bank has recently released a Logistics Performance Index 2016 report titled “Connecting to Complete”. The Logistics Performance Index Report is published by World Bank every two years. In this report, India has been ranked 35 amongst 160 countries, India was ranked 54th in 2014.
विश्व बैंक ने हाल ही में "कनेक्टिंग टू कम्प्लीट" नामक एक लोजिस्टिक्स प्रदर्शन सूचकांक 2016 रिपोर्ट जारी की है। लोजिस्टिक्स प्रदर्शन सूचकांक रिपोर्ट विश्व बैंक द्वारा हर दो साल में प्रकाशित की जाती है । इस रिपोर्ट में भारत 160 देशों में 35वें स्थान पर है, वर्ष 2014 में भारत 54वें स्थान पर था।
