वाइस एडमिरल एसएन घोरमड़े ने 21 अक्टूबर, 2016 को आईएचक्यू एमओडी (एन) में नौसेना संचालन के महानिदेशक के तौर पर अपना पदभार संभाला। फ्लैग ऑफिसर को 01 जनवरी, 1984 को भारतीय नौसेना में कमीशंड किया गया था।

Vice Admiral SN Ghormade assumed the charge of Director General Naval Operations on 21 Oct 16 at the IHQ MoD (N). The Flag Officer was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 1984.
