LIC AAO Recruitment 2017: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has started a recruitment drive to shortlist eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer – AAO (Generalist) post. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of the LIC. The recruitment process is set to begin soon.

Vacancy details:

Name of post: Assistant Administrative Officer – AAO (Generalist)
Vacancies for SC category: 86
Vacancies for ST category: 43
Vacancies for OBC category: 182
Vacancies for UR category: 339
Total number of vacancies: 650

Age criteria:

The minimum age of the candidates as on December 1, 2016 should be 21 year while the maximum age should be 30 years.

The age relaxation limit for the SC/ST category is five years, three years for OBC category, 10 years for PwD (General) category, 15 years for PwD (SC/ST) category and 13 years for PwD (OBC) category. Other age relaxation rules are as applicable.

Educational Qualification:

All candidates are required to be a either a graduate or a post-graduate from a government recognised institution or university.

Process of selection:

Candidates will be selected on the bases of an exam held online, followed by an interview round.

Application fee:

Total fee: Rs 600 + Rs 100 plus transaction charges for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates

Mode of payment:

Candidates can pay the fee online through debit cards (RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards or mobile wallets.

Candidates need to log on to the official website of the LIC, licindia.com in order to apply after the start of the registration process.

Before applying, candidates should have a valid email ID, mobile phone number, and scanned copies of photograph and signature.

Log on to the website. Go the “Careers” tab

Click on “Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer 2017”

Go to the “Click here for Apply Online” link

Register afresh with the “New Registration” link

Read all instructions carefully and enter all details in the form. Upload the required documents.

Verify all information. Submit the form and make the payment for application fee.

Don’t forget to take a print of the application for future reference.
