101-year-old Man Kaur wins gold in 100 metres sprint
With a jaunty victory dance, 101-year-old Man Kaur celebrated winning the 100 metres sprint at the World Masters Games in Auckland, the 17th gold medal in the Indian athlete’s remarkable late-blooming career.
Kaur clocked one minute 14 seconds as a small crowd cheered her on — ending a mere 64.42 seconds off Usain Bolt’s 100m world record set in 2009.

भारत की 101 साल की धाविका मन कौर ने उम्र को धता बताकर आज यहां विश्व मास्टर्स खेलों में 100 मीटर की फर्राटा दौड़ का स्वर्ण पदक जीता जो उनके करियर का कुल 17वां स्वर्ण पदक है।
मन कौर ने एक मिनट 14 सेकेंड में दैर पूरी की। इस तरह से उन्होंने उसैन बोल्ट के 2009 में बनाये गये 100 मीटर के विश्व रिकार्ड से 64.42 सेकेंड का अधिक समय लिया लेकिन स्टेडियम में मौजूद दर्शकों ने कौर का भरपूर समर्थन किया।
