उदय (यूडीएवाई) में शामिल होने वाला मिजोरम 27 वां राज्य बना
उज्ज्वल डिस्कॉम अशुरेन्स योजना (यूडीएवाई) के तहत भारत सरकार और मिजोरम सरकार के बीच राज्य के बिजली वितरण विभाग के परिचालन में सुधार के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं।
मिजोरम के इस समझौता ज्ञापन के हस्ताक्षर करने के साथ ही इस योजना में शामिल होने वाले राज्यों / केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों की संख्या अब 27 हो गई है।
Mizoram becomes 27th State to join UDAY
The Government of India and the State of Mizoram signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the scheme Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY) for operational improvement of the State’s Power Distribution Department.
With the signing of MoU by Mizoram, the total States/ Union territories covered under UDAY will be 27.
राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी ने रांची में रबीन्द्र भवन और हज हाउस की आधार शिला रखी
राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी ने रांची में जयपाल सिंह स्टेडियम परिसर में रविन्द्र भवन और हज हाउस की आधारशिला रखी। राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि रबीन्द्र भवन रांची में कला और संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने के एक विशिष्ट केन्द्र के रूप में पहचान बनाएगा।
हज हाउस की आधारशिला रखते हुए श्री मुखर्जी ने कहा कि हज यात्रा प्रत्येक मुसलमान का सपना होता है और रांची का हज हाउस राज्य के लोगों को हज यात्रा की सुविधा देगा।

President Pranab Mukherjee laid the foundation stones of Rabindra Bhavan and Haj House at Jaipal Singh stadium complex in Ranchi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mukherjee said, Rabindra Bhawan will establish its identity as a unique centre for promotion of art and culture.
Laying the foundation stone of the Haj House, the President said, Haj pilgrimage is a lifetime dream of every Muslim and Haj House at Ranchi will facilitate that journey of the state.

Leander Paes wins Leon Challenger tournament
Leander Paes won his first title of the season, combining with Canadian Adil Shamasdin to lift the Leon Challenger Tour tennis tournament's men's doubles trophy after a straight-set triumph.
Paes, who was named a reserve in India's Davis Cup team for the Uzbekistan tie, and Shamasdin defeated Luca Margaroli (Switzerland) and Caro Zampieri (Brazil) 6-1 6-4 in the title clash at the USD 75,000 hard court event.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर स्थित देश की सबसे लंबी नाशरी-चेनानी सुरंग का उद्घाटन किया।
करीब 2500 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से निर्मित 9.2 किलोमीटर लंबी नाशरी-चेनानी सुरंग देश की सबसे लंबी सुरंग है। यह सुरंग उधमपुर को रामबन जिले के साथ जोड़ती है।
PM inaugurated longest tunnel on Jammu-Srinagar national highway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Nashri-Chenani tunnel the longest in India on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
The 9.2 km long Nashri-Chenani tunnel built at a cost of over 2,500 crore is the longest tunnel in the country. It connects Udhampur with Ramban district.
