AIBA President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu re-elected as council member of ASOIF

International Boxing Association (AIBA) President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu has been re-elected a council member of the Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) for a four-year term.

The General Assembly of ASOIF was held during the SportAccord Convention in Aarhus, Denmark on April 4.

                                                

आइबा अध्यक्ष फिर से एएसओआईएफ की परिषद के सदस्य चुने गये

अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुक्केबाजी संघ (आइबा) के अध्यक्ष डा. चिंग कुओ वु को फिर से चार साल के लिये ग्रीष्मकालीन ओलंपिक अंतरराष्ट्रीय महासंघ : एएसओआईएफ : की परिषद का सदस्य चुना गया है। 


एएसओआईएफ की आम सभा 4 अप्रैल को डेनमार्क के आरहस में में ‘स्पोर्ट अकार्ड’ सम्मेलन के दौरान आयोजित की गयी थी। 

Justice Indira Banerjee sworn-in as Chief Justice of Madras HC

Justice Indira Banerjee was sworn-in as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao administered the oath of office to Justice Banerjee at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. 

Earlier, Banerjee (59) served as a judge in the Delhi High Court and her appointment came following the elevation of former Chief Justice of Madras High Court, Sanjay Kishan Kaul, to the Supreme Court in February.

                                    

न्यायमूर्ति इंदिरा बनर्जी ने मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश पद की शपथ ली

न्यायमूर्ति इंदिरा बनर्जी ने मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के तौर पर शपथ ग्रहण की तमिलनाडु के राज्यपाल चौधरी विद्यासागर राव ने राजभवन में आयोजित एक समारोह में न्यायमूर्ति बनर्जी को शपथ दिलायी।

मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय के पूर्व मुख्य न्यायाधीश संजय किशन कौल की गत फरवरी माह में उच्चतम न्यायालय में पदोन्नति की गई थी जिसके बाद इंदिरा बनर्जी :59: की इस पद पर नियुक्ति हुई।

Indian captain Virat Kohli was  named Wisden's Leading Cricketer in the World for 2016, adding another feather to his already crowded cap

Virat Kohli, who features on the cover of the 2017 edition of the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, is also the Leading Cricketer in the World for 2016.

                                             

कोहली बने विजडन के वर्ष 2016 के अग्रणी क्रिकेटर

पिछले साल क्रिकेट के तीनों प्रारूपों में रनों का अंबार लगाने वाले भारतीय कप्तान विराट कोहली को विजडन क्रिकेटर्स अलमानैक ने वर्ष 2016 का विश्व का अग्रणी क्रिकेटर चुना है।

कोहली को इस सप्ताह प्रकाशित हुई विजडन क्रिकेटर्स अलमानैक ने अपने 2017 के संस्करण में मुखपृष्ठ पर भी जगह दी है जिसमें उन्हें एक टेस्ट मैच में रिवर्स स्वीप करते हुए दिखाया गया है।
