Bahamas elects a new prime minister, Hubert Minnis
Hubert Minnis emerged as the Bahamas' next prime minister in general elections that saw incumbent Perry Christie concede defeat.
Christie, leader of Progressive Liberal Party, conceded defeat in a statement in which he said he had made a congratulatory telephone call to Minnis wishing the leader of the Free National Movement success.

बहामास ने आम चुनाव में ह्यूबर्ट मिनिस को देश का अगला प्रधानमंत्री चुना है। वहीं निवर्तमान प्रधानमंत्री पेरी क्रिस्टी ने हार स्वीकार कर ली है।
प्रोग्रेसिव लिबरल पार्टी के नेता पेरी क्रिस्टी ने एक बयान में हार स्वीकार कर ली और कहा कि उन्होंने फ्री नेशनल मूवमेंट के नेता मिनिस को फोन करके जीत की बधाई दी है।
