Mumbai continues to be most expensive city for expatriates in India
Mumbai is the most expensive city for expatriates in India and is ranked higher than major global cities such as Paris, Canberra, Seattle and Vienna, says a report.
According to Mercer's 23rd annual Cost of Living Survey, Mumbai is placed 57th on the list while New Delhi was placed at 99.
Chennai (135), Bangalore (166) and Kolkata (184) were the other Indian cities on the list.

एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत में विदेशियों के लिए मुंबई सबसे महंगा शहर है और इस लिहाज से उसे पेरिस, कैनबरा, सिएटल तथा वियना जैसे शहरों से भी ऊपर रखा गया है।
अनुसंधान फर्म मर्सर के 23वें सालाना जीविका लागत सर्वे में विदेशियों के लिए महंगे शहरों की सूची में मुंबई को 57वें स्थान पर रखा गया है।
भारतीय शहरों की बात की जाए तो इस सूची में नयी दिल्ली 99वें, बेंगलुरू 135वें व कोलकाता 184वें स्थान पर है।

The airport in oil-rich Kazakhstan's capital Astana has been renamed after long-reigning President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The resolution to change the name of Astana International Airport is effective immediately. The apparent personality cult surrounding Nazarbayev has grown significantly during the second half of his near 30-year reign, as Kazakhstan looks to project itself as a regional economic success story.

तेल से मालामाल कजाकिस्तान की राजधानी अस्ताना में हवाई अड्डे का नाम बदल कर लंबे समय तक राष्ट्रपति रहे नुरसुल्तान नजरबायेव के नाम पर रखा गया है।
अस्ताना अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे का नाम तत्काल प्रभाव से बदलने का प्रस्ताव है। अपने करीब 30 वर्षीय शासनकाल के करीब 15 वर्ष के कार्यकाल के दौरान नजरबायेव का कद काफी बढ़ गया और इस दौरान जैसा कजाकिस्तान ने खुद को एक क्षेत्रीय आथर्कि नायक के रूप में पेश किया।
Uber CEO Kalanick resigns under investor pressure
Uber CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick has resigned.
Kalanick said in a statement to The New York Times that he has accepted a request from investors to step aside.
Kalanick says the move will allow the ride-sharing company to go back to building itself rather than become distracted by another fight.

उबर के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी और सह-संस्थापक ट्राविस कालनिक ने इस्तीफा दे दिया है।
न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स को दिए एक बयान में कालनिक ने कहा कि निवेशकों ने उनसे पद छोड़ने का आग्रह किया जिसे उन्होंने स्वीकार कर लिया है।
कालनिक का कहना है कि इस कदम से कैब सेवा देने वाली इस कंपनी को फिर से खुद को खड़ा करने में मदद मिलेगी बजाय कि वह किसी और तरह की लड़ाई में उलझ जाए।
Saudi King's Son Mohammed Bin Salman Named Crown Prince
Saudi King Salman named his son Mohammed bin Salman as crown prince, completing a gradual removal of powers from the previous prince Mohammed bin Nayef, 57, who has been fired.
According to a royal decree issued by the official Saudi Press Agency, Mohammed bin Salman, 31, was also named deputy prime minister, and maintains his post as minister of defence.
