India GDP growth to remain flat at 7.1 per cent in 2017-18: HSBC
India’s economic growth is expected to remain flat at 7.1 per cent in current fiscal as investment is still weak and government spending might not be as high given the fiscal consolidation, says an HSBC report.
According to the global financial services major, the GDP growth momentum is slowing since mid-2016 and this trend is expected to continue going forward.
मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष में भारत की जीडीपी वृद्धि दर 7.1 प्रतिशत रहेगी: एचएसबीसी
वैश्विक वित्तीय संस्थान एचएसबीसी ने मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष में भारत की जीडीपी वृद्धि दर 7.1 प्रतिशत पर स्थित रहने का अनुमान लगाया है क्योंकि निवेश की स्थिति कमजोर है और सरकारी खर्च उम्मीद के अनुरूप नहीं रहेगा।
एचएसबीसी का कहना है कि जीडीपी वृद्धि दर में नरमी का रख पिछले साल यानी 2016 के मध्य से ही चल रहा है और इसके आगे भी जारी रहने का अनुमान है।

India slips to 45th spot in IMD's World Competitiveness list
India has been ranked 45th, down four notches from last year, in terms of competitiveness in the annual rankings compiled by IMD which saw Hong Kong topping the list.
US was "pushed out" of the top three slots while Hong Kong consolidated its dominance of the annual rankings for the second year in the list compiled by the International Institute for Management Development's (IMD) World Competitiveness Center.

आईएमडी की प्रतिस्पर्धा सूची में भारत पिछले साल की तुलना में चार पायदान फिसलकर 45वें स्थान पर आ गया है। इस वार्षिक सूची में हांगकांग पहले स्थान पर रहा है।
इंटरनेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट फॉर मैनेजमेंट डेवलपमेंट :आईएमडी: विश्व प्रतिस्पर्धात्मकता केंद्र द्वारा तैयार सूची में अमेरिका पहले स्थान से पीछे चला गया है। लगातार दूसरे साल हांगकांग का इस सूची में दबदबा कायम रहा है।
