India to invite heads of 10 Asean nations for Republic Day celebrations.

Republic Day 2018, will be the first time ever that so many leaders will together be chief guests at the parade which showcases India's military might. According to the external affairs ministry, this year, India and Asean are marking 25 years of dialogue partnership, 15 years of summit-level interaction, and five years of strategic partnership, through a wide range of activities, both in India and through Indian missions in Asean member-states, including a commemorative summit on the theme, 'Shared Values, Common Destiny', .

गणतंत्र दिवस 2018, में पहली बार ऐसा होगा जब कई नेताओं को परेड में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में आमंत्रित किया जायेगा जिसमें भारत की सैन्य शक्ति का प्रदर्शन होगा। विदेश मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, इस वर्ष भारत और आसियान, भारत और भारतीय मिशनों के माध्यम से 25 वर्षों की बातचीत की साझेदारी कर रहा है, 15 वर्षों के शिखर स्तर की बातचीत, और सामरिक साझेदारी की पांच वर्षों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला के माध्यम से चिह्नित कर रहा है| इसी विषय पर एक स्मारक शिखर सम्मेलन सहित, 'साझा मूल्य, साझा भाग्य' को भी परस्पर किया जा रहा है|

India athletes bag four golds on Day 2 of Asian Athletics.

India continued its fine run at the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships, winning four gold medals so far on a rain-hit second day of the competition here. Indian quarter milers -- both in men's and women's section -- sensationally grabbed a gold medal each in the space of fewer than five minutes to consolidate the host country's lead on day two.

Nirmala Sheoran clinched the yellow metal in women's 400m, while Mohammed Anas grabbed the gold in men's 400m. Meanwhile, P U Chitra finished on the top of the podium in women's 1500m race and Ajay Kumar Saroj won a gold medal in men's 1500m. India yesterday bagged as many as seven medals, including two golds, to sit on the top in the medal tally.

भारत ने 22 वें एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप में अपना अच्छा प्रदर्शन जारी रखा, यहां प्रतियोगिता के दूसरे दिन बारिश से प्रभावित होने पर भी दूसरे दिन स्वर्ण पदक जीते। पुरुषों और महिलाओं के दोनों वर्गों में भारतीय क्वॉर्टर मिलर - सनसनीखेज तरीके से पांच मिनट से भी कम समय में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर मेजबान देश की बढ़त को दोबारा मजबूत कर दिया। निर्मला शोरान ने महिलाओं की 400 मीटर में येल्लो मैडल हासिल किया, जबकि मोहम्मद अनास ने पुरुषों की 400 मीटर में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। इसी बीच, पीयू चित्रा ने महिला 1500 मीटर दौड़ में शीर्ष पर रही और अजय कुमार सरोज ने पुरुषों के 1500 मीटर में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। भारत दो स्वर्ण पदक सहित सात पदक जीत कर, पदक तालिका में उच्च स्थान पर बना हुआ है|
