Dr. Harshvardhan launches “Sagar Vani” - An Integrated Information Dissemination System
Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Dr. Harshvardhan launched an app “Sagar Vani” on the occasion of Foundation Day of Ministry of Earth Sciences in New Delhi.
ESSO-Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) under Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) provides ocean information services for the benefit of various user communities in the country. The services are more fruitfully utilized when the advisories reaches the end user in timely manner and in user readable format. Now-a-days ICT facilities in the country are accessible to large population of the country and that plays a major role in effective dissemination of information to the end user. ESSO-INCOIS has adopted the state-of-the-art technologies and tools available in the country for the timely dissemination of Ocean Information and Advisory Services that includes Potential Fishing Zone (PFZ) advisories, Ocean State Forecast (OSF), High Wave Alerts and Tsunami early warnings.

केन्द्रीय विज्ञान प्रौद्योगिकी, पृथ्वी विज्ञान और पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय के स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर एक ऐप सागर वाणी की शुरूआता की।
पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत ईएसएसओ-महासागर सूचना सेवा के लिए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय केन्द्र (आईएनसीओआईएस) देश में विभिन्न उपयोगकर्ता समुदायों के लाभ के लिए है। इन सेवाओँ का अधिक लाभदायक तरीके से इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है बशर्ते अंतिम उपयोगकर्ता तक समय पर और पढ़ने योग्य फॉरमेट में परामर्श पहुंच जाये। देश की अधिकांश जनता की पहुंच में आईसीटी सुविधाएं है और वह अंतिम उपयोगकर्ता तक सूचना के प्रभावी प्रसार में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाती है। ईएसएसओ- आईएनसीओआईएस ने महासागर सूचना और परामर्श सेवाओं के समय पर प्रसार के लिए देश में उपलब्ध आधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकी और साधन अपनाये हैं जिनमें संभावित मछली पकड़ने के क्षेत्र में परामर्श, महासागर राज्य भविष्यवाणी, ऊंची लहरों और सुनामी के बारे में पूर्व चेतावनी शामिल हैं।
Iran in successful test of satellite-launch rocket
Iran successfully tested a satellite-launch rocket 'Simorgh'.
It said the launch vehicle, named Simorgh after a bird in Iranian mythology, was capable of propelling a satellite weighing 250 kilograms to an altitude of 500 kilometres above earth.
ईरान ने उपग्रह प्रक्षेपित करने वाले रॉकेट का सफल परीक्षण किया
ईरान ने उपग्रह प्रक्षेपित करने वाले एक रॉकेट 'सिमोर्घ' का सफल परीक्षण किया।
ईरान की सरकारी टीवी ने बताया कि प्रक्षेपण यान का नाम ‘सिमोर्घ ’है जो ईरानी पौराणिक कथाओं के एक पक्षी का नाम है। यह रॉकेट 250 किलोग्राम वजन के उपग्रह को पृथ्वी से 500 किमी की उंचाई पर ले जाने में सक्षम है।
